Dhruv woke up with a splitting headache.

"Oh, good you are up" came Kabir's voice, hovering somewhere above him.

Suddenly, his eyes were attacked with blazing sunlight.

"Kabir" groaned Dhruv.

"Get up!" said Kabir.

"Kabir...please, pull back the curtains. The sunlight is hurting my eyes" said Dhruv slowly.

"Oh, thats sad. And what about how you hurt Mom? And put Jai and Sonali at risk, looking for you all over the city?" said Kabir.

"Kabir, please, stop with the sermonizing, so early in the morning" said Dhruv.

He tried to get up from his bed, after much sulking but found his foot restrained.

Dhruv looked down and saw his left foot chained to the bed.

"Kabir, what the hell is this?" said an angry Dhruv.

"I'm sorry, bhai. But last night you were a mess. You kept puking intermittently and Mom had clean up after you. You were beaten up badly when Jai and Sonali found you. I can't send them again to search for you, especially not Sonali, both of them are not used to traipsing around the city like this" said Kabir.

"I didn't tell them to come looking for me. I told no one to come after me. I can look after myself" said Dhruv, and started coughing.

"Clearly not" said Kabir shortly. "You are not going to put the family through distress over this, bhai. I know you are in pain, I know you are hurt. But there are better ways to deal with it than drowning yourself in alcohol and blowing up the little cash that we have."

Dhruv glared at Kabir.

"I have chained you to the bed. Until you sober down, I've told everyone here not to release you" said Kabir, as he turned around and left for work.

Jai and Sonali who were observing the whole exchange, looked at their brother pitifully.

"Jai, Sonali, unlock this damn chain" said Dhruv.

"We can't, bhaiyaa. Kabir bhai took the keys with him" said Sonali apologetically.

Jai nodded and the duo left for college.

"Poor Dhruv. That girl, Pooja, she totally messed with his mind" said Chanda tutting.

Suman despaired looking at the condition of her elder son. But she was helpless. Kabir had the keys, and he won't be back until his lunch hours.

Chanda was right, that girl was responsible for all of this.

Pooja was tired.

She had stayed up most of the night to work on her other project, but it was progressing rather slowly. She had to be rather careful with that one, as an error there could have terrible consequences.

She was hoping that she would receive a good news, at least on the business front; the Chinese clients would confirm the deal.

Someone knocked on the door.

"Come in" said Pooja, removing her hands from her head, and putting on her business face.

"Madamji, the Chinese clients are here" said Chopra.

"Here? They have come here? I thought they were going to confirm or deny on phone" said Pooja, getting up to meet them.

"Well, looks like they want something more to consider" said Chopra, sounding serious.
