"Good morning, bhai" said Kabir, as he sat down to breakfast in the morning.

"Good morning" grunted Dhruv, without really looking at Kabir.

"Bachho (Kids), I've made your favorite aloo ke paranthe today" said Suman happily.

"Wow, Taaiji, they smell great" said Jai, sitting down at the table and helping himself to some.

"Dhruv, why aren't you eating? You like them so much" said Suman, noticing Dhruv's empty plate.

"I don't feel that hungry today" said Dhruv, drinking some juice. "I'll better be off to work"

"But bhai, didn't you have second Saturdays off at work?" asked Kabir, raising an eyebrow.

"Kabir, mine is not a well-known establishment like yours. They had some extra work today, and I signed up for it. Its not like I have much of a personal life now" said Dhruv bitterly, as he finished his juice, and nearly rushed out of the dining room.

"Did I say something wrong, Maa?" asked Kabir, looking at his mother quizzically.

"It't not your fault, beta" sighed Suman, as she sat down to join them. "You didn't say anything wrong. Its all the fault of that girl. She has ruined my son, I don't know whether he'll ever recover from her betrayal."

"I have finished, Maa. I'll go check on bhai. He looked a little mentally disturbed, if you ask me" said Kabir.

"As you feel, Kabir. But don't ire him further" said Suman, cautiously.

Kabir nodded, and left for Dhruv's office.

But at Dhruv's office he had a surprise waiting for him.

"Closed?" asked Kabir, of the guard again.

"How many times should I repeat it? Second Saturdays are off here" said the watchman.

"But...but my brother said, he had work today. Are you the office on the third floor isn't open? For some employees to do overtime?" asked Kabir.

"It is not. No one came to work here today. Your brother is most probably lying, so that he can be elsewhere, which he doesn't want his family to know. Now stop wasting my time, and leave" said the watchman, clearly annoyed with Kabir.

If Dhruv didn't go work at the office, then where did he go? And why did he lie like that? thought Kabir.

Instantly the image of catching Dhruv's shadow at the Sharma office came to his mind. Maybe Dhruv went there? Today Kabir must catch up with his brother, and ask him what's going on.

But he reached the Sharma office a little late.

"Good morning, Kabir saab" said one of the older watchmen, greeting Kabir.

"Don't let your Madam catch you calling me Saab" said Kabir good-naturedly.

"Oh, she won't. Not today, Kabir Saab" said the watchman, laughing a little.

"Why?" asked Kabir.

"She is not in office today, she went with the truck delivering some consignment. She wanted to oversee the entire process or something, so she went with them. Chopra Saab is in the office though" replied the watchman.

Pooja went with the delivery men to oversee the delivery of the consignment? Probably to the Chinese clients. Well, that was very hands-on for her. But maybe Kabir should've expected that, after all she did supervise and mingle with the workers the other day.

But another urgent thought interrupted his present stream of thoughts.

"Bhaiyaa, did you tell anybody else this? That Pooja has gone with consignment people?" asked Kabir of the watchman.
