Her head was pounding.

It was the first time she had ever drunk and she didn't even have fun. Why did adults like alcohol anyway? She thought it was going to be exiting, like in the books. But no; she felt weird all night and got sick.

All she wanted to do was get used to the taste, so by the time she was old enough she could have a chat and a drink at the bar. Like a sophisticated women. But that wouldn't come for a long time, so whatever.

She put the scotch in the cupboard inside the wall.

The outfit she wore was similar to the usual one she used to wear. It had frilly bits and was smaller and bigger in different places.

She wished Javier were here. They didn't see eachother often and the long distance thing was tiring; although she did 'love the love letters.'

Like she said, she did her hair like she did at the party.

Spirit was outside waiting for her. She rode him to the new french café. Pru and Abigail were talking at the back.

"Hey Lucky, we already ordered your tea." Abigail said.

"Thanks," Lucky looked at her feet as she sat down, "I tried it."

"It?"

Pru nudged her elbow.

"Ohh, 'it.'" she paused, " was it fun?"

"No. I throw up last night and still feel awful."

"Maybe you shouldn't become an alcoholic at 16?" Pru she quirked an eyebrow.

"I'm not an alcoholic."

"That's what an alcoholic would say."

"Abigail!"

They looked at eachother and burst out laughing.

After awhile she came home after some fun. Wow been there five minutes and she was already calling home.

Knock, Knock.

She reached for the handle.

Creeeeeeck.

"Dad?"

"Hi sweet pea..... So this is where you've been living."

"Yeah..."

"Where's the boyfriend?"

"Studying?"

"What's he studying again?"

"Uhh, self defense?"

"Why does everything sound like a question?"

"..."

"So where's he studying?"

"Some military base thing."

"To be...in the military?"

"That's why he's there."

They looked at eachother for what felt like hours.

"You said he was studying."

"Studying self defense."

Jim did want to say something but there was just silence.

"Okayyyy, I came here to tell you the stuffs packed."

"Oh, you want me to come back."

"I'll see you tomorrow."

With that he left. Great; bye, bye privacy.
