Chapter 1

NEW! NEW! NEW!

"What? Really? Why? Do we have to...? I mean can't we just..." I questioned repeatedly.

"Will you please just give me a break to explain!" mom disturbed.

"We have to move house because this house is small for us and at least you would get a big room not like the small room you got" mom explained. "You don't even call that a room it's like an attic room" mom muttered.

"But what about my friends and my school?" I said worriedly. I'm going to miss them all especially my best friend Louise.

"You'll be OK" Eddie said, my brother who I just finished arguing with a minute ago.

"Yes sure, only because you will" I said to Eddie.

"Now you both go to your room and start packing your things because we're moving in tomorrow" mom cut us off.

"What!!" I and Eddie shouted out.

Oh, great now. No time to pack my things or say goodbye to my friends but... I could text them, oh what the hell? Why is this happening? I and Eddie went upstairs to pack our stuff. Phew, DONE! Mom called us for dinner but I couldn't be bothered to go and eat I just wanted to lie on my bed.

In the morning, I stayed in bed until I heard a voice saying 'wakey wakey', it was my brother.

"Go to hell and leave me alone" I said sleepy. Why can't he just leave me alone?

"Oh damn it, what time is it?" I yelled at him.

"Twelve o'clock" he answered.

I jumped hurriedly out of bed to check the time.

"Ha ha, I got you didn't I?" he laughed.

"Oh, you you you stupid ugly monkey" I shouted angrily.

It is only eight but we have to move in today. I went downstairs after I got ready to check what been going on.

"Morning honey" mom greeted me.

"Morning mum" I greeted back. "Where's dad? I haven't seen him since last night because I went to sleep".

"Hey Rose" Dad called out.

"Oh, hi dad"

"Excited today?" dad asked.

"Yes" I lied.

Sure I am. Do I look like I am? I really don't want to move but I have to and by the way I would get a big room.

"Is everyone ready?" Dad shouted.

When everyone was ready we went in the car and on our way to our 'NEW HOME'.

Here we go in Washington now, a noisy city. Wow. I looked up at the house mum pointed at and saw that it's a big house and it looks cool. We went inside the house to pack our things.

"I want this room" I shouted.

"No, I want that one" Eddie protested.

"I said first so you can't have it" I replied.

"Wow, wow! U two stop arguing and I'll choose your rooms" mom said. I entered my CHOSEN room and looked at it, it's beautiful and big, it has a balcony too. I started to pack my things and after I was done, I walked toward the balcony and looked out at the neighbours.

"Lunch is ready" mom called.

I went downstairs and helped mom with separating the plates on the table. Mom made roasted chicken with chips. Suddenly the phone rang, Eddie answered it.

"I think it's for you Rose" Eddie said and gave me the phone.

"Hello, who is this?" I asked.

It was Jane my mom's sister who is married to Mark Adams.

"It's Jane and she wants mom not me you idiot" I said to Eddie.

"I couldn't hear her properly and I thought it might be for you" Eddie explained.

"You must be deaf and by the way you need to see the doctor for that, sorry I meant the VET" I said to Eddie.

"Vet! That's for animals, are you crazy?" Eddie exclaimed.

"No, I am not but doctors don't accept a monkey like you but Vets do, Ha Ha" I laughed but It wasn't really funny.

"End of Conversation" mom shouted at us.

'I don't want to go to school tomorrow, it's going to be difficult to know people and I probably won't remember any names but if I do that would be good'. After lunch, I went to my room to get my stuff ready for tomorrow. Tomorrow is going to be the worst day of my life. NEW SCHOOL. NEW TEACHERS. NEW FRIENDS. Gosh, this is ba-d. My phone was ringing; it was Louise, my Best friend.

"Hey Louise, what's up?" I answered my phone.

She's moving house and she's going to live near my house. Cool.

"So when you moving?" I asked.

She's moving in two weeks time, I hoped it was in days but still I'm excited. I looked at the time and it was ten o'clock evening and I had to go to bed, so that I wake up in the morning.
