Chapter 2

New Girl

"I'm awake, now go away" I yelled at my brother. I got ready and went downstairs.

"Breakfast is ready" mom called out.

Cereals! Erm... Yeah, nice. I sat on the chair opposite Eddie and boringly crunched on my coco pops without milk.

"C'mon Rose let's go" Eddie called for me.

"Coming monkey boy" I laughed then he turned back to face me.

"What's funny now?" he asked.

I couldn't help it, I can't stop laughing.

"Oh I just remembered something when I said monkey boy" I answered still laughing.

"What is it?" he asked again.

"I remembered Rosalie calling Emmett 'my monkey boy' in the Twilight movie" I said teasing him.

"Yeah funny" he retorted then grinned.

"You're laughing too so ha"

I love that movie it's so cool and romantic. Jacob is so hot and sexy, Edward is cool too but I like the character Edward more than Robert and I love his supernatural power, the mind reading. How cool? I'd love to read people's mind and know what they are thinking. In my dad's car, I and Eddie talked about Twilight all the way until we were in school.

The school looked really big. Eddie was excited but I wasn't even a bit. The reception lady sent a boy called Tom to show me my class. As soon as we entered the class room everyone went silent and all their eyes were at me while Tom was explaining to the Teacher. The teacher introduced me to the class and told me to sit next to a boy called Eric. He's a good looking guy, who is also handsome.

"Excuse me what subject is this?" I managed to ask him.

"It's English" he answered shyly.

"Ok, thanks" I said.

"No problemo" he said back.

Weirdo, I thought. He must be Italiano, I chuckled. I don't know who to hang around with next in break. The bell rang and everyone started leaving so I grabbed my stuff and followed them to the playing ground, it was crowded.

"Hi, I'm Jessica, call me Jess, you must be the new girl" the girl introduced herself and waited for me to speak.

"I'm Rosalie, call me Rose" I finally said.

She introduced me to her friends and then explained the school rules and a little bit about the students etc. Someone is being kind and nice by showing me my classes.

After third lesson I had maths with Jess. She didn't help me with the work but I did, I am brainy so I don't need help but I got bored and felt sleepy until Mr. John's loud voice drummed in my ears and woke me up.

"We're friends, right?" Jess muttered to me.

"Um...Yes-sure" I said being nice.

She grinned at me then turned to back away. Uh, it's lunch time now. I followed Jess to the canteen and stood behind her in the Queue. Wait... I remembered her name; I must have a memory stick with me, huh. We got our food and went to sit on a table with her four friends around it. I put my tray down then went to get a fork and a knife.

"Whoop" I yelled.

I nearly slipped on the floor but I felt someone holding onto me really hard.

"Thanks" I said to whoever helped me without looking up to see him or her. Then I stood up on my feet and looked at who saved me and saw a beautiful angel; who was sniffing their nose then left quickly as if I stink or something but I was dazzled when I looked at the beautiful golden eyes.

"Are you alright?" Jess called.

"Yeah" I answered, dazzled by looking at the beautiful guy who looked angry. I walked with Jess to sit on the table with her friends, Annie, Eric, Paige and John. I got chemistry with Jess and Eric. They walked towards their seats and left me with Mr. Edward. I looked at everyone in the class but suddenly someone caught my eyes, it was him, the Guy.

"You must be the new girl?" Mr. Edward asked.

"Yes" I answered then looked at the guy.

I was dazzled again and all I heard Mr. Edward say was 'sit here'. I looked around and saw that the only free seat for me to sit in was next to that guy. I smiled at him but he gave me a hateful smile. I sat down quietly next to him. He stayed silent and kept staring at me all lesson. As soon as the bell rang he disappeared quickly as if he was watching the clock.

"Who is he?" I asked Jess as she walked by me.

"Who?"-

"The guy who was sitting next to me" I reminded her.

"Oh, you mean Jacob" she said.

"He's strange" I commented.

"He doesn't talk to anyone and he is always with his friend Liam. He's hot too, isn't he?" she asked.

"Huh- what... yeah a little" I answered.

OMG! What did I just say? Damn me, by the way he's handsome and cool but weird. He reminds me of Edward Cullen but his first name is the same as Jacob Black from Twilight. He's cute like Jacob Black-cut it out now, I said to myself. He's just a student like anyone else for god sake, Rose. Wait...

What if he was a vampire like Edward in Twilight, that'll be awesome but what the hell Of course NO, they don't even exist I guess. But what if they do? Uh just STOP it now! I said to myself again.

"Hey whoa", uh it's Eddie!

"What do you want?" I yelled at him.

"Who was that guy you were with in the way to your class? I think he likes you. Ooh" Eddie asked.

"You mean Eric, it's none of your business any way monkey boy" I answered.

"Stop calling me monkey boy, will you!" he said angrily.

"Go away Eddie is that better?"

"No" he said.

We went in the house then I walked to my room. Mum came across us.

"Mum, could you tell him to mind his own business and stay away from me?" I said to mom.

"Eddie!" mom called him.

"Uh... whatever" he sighed.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday passed without Jacob coming to school. I wondered why, it can't be me; I didn't do anything to him. Why wouldn't he come to school, is it because of me? Did I stink to him? Is that why he used to stay away from me? But he wouldn't miss four days because of that. Maybe he's ill or had an accident. Uh forget it...Subject Changed, I thought to myself.

It was Sunday which meant Louise was moving in. Cool. But she's going to college not my school! Bad. At least she lives near my house which means I could see her everyday. I wasn't able to see her today because she was packing her clothes and things. I have got chemistry first lesson tomorrow... and it will be with him. Ugh. He was never out of my mind, I have been thinking about him all week but not in the way Jess thinks.
