"Do you wanna do something this weekend?" Wyatt asked me as he opened the door to the passenger side of his car for me. "It feels like we haven't gotten to hang out lately."

"Yeah, I know. Things have just been weird." I told him, grabbing my bag before hopping out of his car. It was a daily routine now, Wyatt would give me rides to school in the mornings; and sometimes back, too, if Bella wasn't. It was hard knowing what I am but still having to go to school everyday not knowing what to expect. It didn't help not having any information of my kind. I was thankful for one thing, though. And that was the fact I didn't have a violent craving for blood.

Not to mention, Jasper. We haven't spoken too much since the night we talked about it all. It felt like he was ignoring me which bothered me more than I thought it would.

"Hey, what's up with Bella?" Wyatt nudged my shoulder, snapping me out of the hole I was digging in my thoughts. He nodded over to the brunette who was staring forward intensely- almost in betrayal.

I followed her stare, seeing it was at none other than Edward himself.

I furrowed my eyebrows as we walked towards her, "Bells," I called out, watching her head turn towards my direction, "everything alright?"

She hesitated before nodding slowly, "Y-Yeah, everything's good. I just-" She turned back to Edward, who was isolated from the rest of his family for once, as I now saw he was staring back at her with the same intensity, "I'm gonna catch you later, Margot." She mumbled as she began walking towards the pale-skinned boy.

I turned to Wyatt who merely shrugged, "I personally don't know what she sees in him."

I scoffed, pushing him lightly before walking towards the school.

...

"Monte Carlo? That's our prom theme?" Jessica glanced at the flyer over Eric's shoulder in disapprovement.

"Gambling, tuxedos, and Bond.. James Bond." Eric quoted the infamous line with a smirk making me giggle as Angela smiled.

"Sounds like fun to me." Wyatt commented from besides me, his eyes tracing over the bling'd up poster.

I took it from his hands, smiling before placing it down and turning to him, "Good. Because we're going." I informed him.

He turned to me in slight shock before raising his eyebrow, "Together?"

I chuckled lightly, "Ouch." I teased.

"No, it's not that I don't want to but-" He paused glancing behind me, "wouldn't you rather go with your boyfriend?"

I turned to see who he was looking at, even though a part of me knew exactly who. I caught eyes with Jasper, who sat with the rest of his siblings, excluding Edward. He was staring at me, but looked away when I turned.
