Capitalization Tips:

 - ALWAYS capitalize proper nouns. The most significant difference between proper nouns and common nouns is that common nouns name general things, while proper nouns are there to point of the specifics in the general things. For example, a common noun would be a book. If we want to name a specific book, like To Kill a Mockingbird, it would be considered a proper noun.

  - Generic words, such as mom, dad, sister, ect must be capitalized when they are being used as names. For example, "Did my mom do it?" would not have "mom"  be capitalized. However, "Did Mom do it?" would.

 - Months of a year and the days of the week are always capitalized.

 - You do NOT capitalize seasons.

 - Whether it is a proper or common noun, ALWAYS capitalize the first word of every sentence.

 - Nicknames, such as "sweety" and "beautiful" are only capitalized when being used instead of a name. For example, you would not capitalize "sweety" in the phrase, "Well, ain't she a sweety!" because it is using to describe. However, when used like, "Sweety, come here please," it is, because it is being used as a name.
