The brown-haired beauty tugged at the sleeves of her sweater, glancing at her brother, then back at the train.

"You don't need to be so nervous, Laur," he smiled down at her. "You're going to have so much fun here."

She looked at her parents once more, who waved goodbye to her tearfully. The sight of her father's tears pushed her forward and she ran to her parents, enveloping them in a hug, not ready to leave the station.

"Have fun, sweetheart. But don't cause as much trouble as your dear brother," her father chuckled.

Her mother stroked her head and said, "You're going to be late if you don't get on the train now, sweetie. We know you'll do a wonderful job. Now get on the train before it leaves without you!"

The girl laughed a little and said her final goodbyes before making her way back to her brother. He put her arm around her shoulders, guiding her towards the train.

"Remember, I'll love you no matter what house you're in."

"Even Slytherin, Sam?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. She took note of his slight hesitation.

"Absolutely. But of course, you have to remember that Ravenclaw will always be the superior house."

She shook her head while giggling at her brother's words, and together the Green siblings boarded the train.

The brunette then set off to find the compartment with her best friends. Laurelle looked through compartment after compartment before finally finding two girls, one blonde and one raven-haired. She stepped into the compartment and slammed the door shut, taking a seat next to the blonde.

"Ella! How was your summer?" Laurelle pulled a face at the nickname the dark-haired girl insisted on calling her, but chose not to comment on it.

"It was really fun. Thankfully Sam and his girlfriend only stayed at our house for a week. They stayed at her house for most of the summer, which meant I got access to Sam's library." She grinned. Sam was so overprotective of his books that she wasn't even allowed to touch them. Strangely, he didn't seem to notice the missing copy of Oliver Twist which was currently sitting at the bottom of her trunk.

"Sam's girlfriend seems pretty nice though. Mary Macdonald, was it?" The blonde questioned.

"Yeah. She's been a very good influence on him. He was in shock when he saw his Hogwarts letter this year. Prefect and Quidditch captain. At least I got my mum's amazing strawberry cake at his congratulations party. Now, enough about my summer. How was yours, Clara?"
