I can't remember clearly where exactly did I used to live. But I heard Mama say it the Midsouth wasteland. It wasn't a wasteland before...you know...before the world changed. Do you remember that? Oh silly me! How could you? You weren't even born then. So I was saying we migrated to the Northwest fertile lands. At that time they were ruled by a very unfriendly king. He was mean to new people and was just ok for his own people. Not very wise but very grumpy. Well we had no choice. Nowhere else to go. East was forbidden land because it all started from East.
Anyway we traveled a really hard and loooooong journey to reach that state. At least grumpy king kept it safe by building a wall. But that was the issue the wall could only contain the most developed part of the country, leading to population issues. But we didn't know that before. We just heard he has made a great wall to defend his people. Nobody expected it to be around the main district only. Rest of the country was just as exposed as anywhere else on Earth. But at least it wasn't barren like our land. And water was available too. For Free!
