I woke up to my alarm clock screaming at me. I groaned as I pushed the stop button so It'd shut up. I got out of the bed and put on a long sleeve shirt and put on a regular shirt on top, slipping on my regular high waist skinny black jeans, putting on my vans and applying light makeup with some blush.
I put on some rings along with chain necklaces. Yes some people look at me as, emo, goth, and mostly now because of tik tok, am Egirl. I don't care I just like the style. Along with the "soft egirl look" I sighed as I brushed my hair out and started walking towards my door. I pick up my bag as I slung it over my shoulder. I smiled as I walked towards the stairs in my house seeing my mom and little sister, my little sister is the complete opposite of me, she loves clothing brands, most of the things I've got is from thrift stores besides the thing like champion, vans, and most of my rings and necklaces. "Hello honey..." my mom said looking at my outfit forcing a smile on her face. "I don't want to go to school with you looking like that" my sister, Caitlyn, rolled her eyes. "I care because" I asked as she scoffed. "Than you can take the bus and mom can drive me" she said as I shrugged. "I don't care, I'll walk for all I care" I shrugged as my mom shook her head.
"Just get in the car the both of you" my mom rolled her eyes as we both walked towards the door as we left the house my mom starting her car up as we drove towards the school. I got out of the car not caring about saying bye or I love you, she doesn't care I know she doesn't.
I walked into the school, my music blaring through my AirPods. I walked to my locker as I shoved book in my bag that I would need as I went to close it but it was slammed closed and my book knocked to the ground as a hand shoved me to the floor with the books. I sighed as I looked up and saw Neon Eubanks and Chase Hudson. I groaned getting ready to get up but a foot kicked me as I fell back to the ground, I noticed my sister and her friends walking by as she looked at me and the my bullies as she sighed and walked off with her friends.
A hand yanked my hair up as they now were bent down looking me in the eyes as Neon held my hair. "You really piss me off" he sighed as I touched my cheek as he flicked my nose as I groaned. "You really look stupid today Haley, didn't know you could look more retarded than you already do but you've out done yourself" chase smiled as I tried to get Neon to let go of my hair but he only tightened his grip. "You're a waste of space at this school, whore" he said as he let go of my hair by throwing my head towards the ground as I sat there for a minute and watched them walk away.
I sighed and grabbed my books, finishing putting them in my bag, I stood up and walked to the bathroom as girl were coming out as they laughed at me and mumbled about me, I sighed as I went to the mirror and saw nothing was too messed up besides my hair, I tried to fix it as the first bell rang as I rushed to History.
I sighed before I entered the room, I sat in my seat as the teach called rolled as everyone was here I looked over in the corner and saw Neon and his girlfriend, Alexa, sitting by each other like always, not paying attention or anything.
I sighed as I looked back at the teacher as he started talking and I began to take notes I'm sure chase and neon were gonna beat me up about to get them.

It was art class, as everyone piled in and sat in different spots of the room, the teacher started counting peoples heads for role as my somewhat only friend walked up to me, Layla.
"Hey sweetie" she smiled as I smiled back. "I saw chase and Neon after you again" she frowned as I shrugged. "Why don't you like report them to the office" she asked as I shrugged as she shook her head. "We've got a project in here" she said as I nodded. "I hope we get paired together, with your drawing skills and my painting skills we could totally pass whatever she gives us" she put her hand out as I lightly slapped it with mine.
"Okay class, as someone of you know we have a project, it'll be due next block day, you guys are free to come up here after school and work on anything, but I will be assigning partners" she said as people groaned. As she smiled and brought out a piece of paper, Layla seemed anxious as she had her fingers crossed, I guess hoping to be with me. "Layla and Austin" she said as she groaned as chase and neons friend smiled at her and motioned first her to go over there. "Sorry Haley" she side hugged me as I nodded
"Haley and Neon" the teacher said as I sighed and let my head fall to the table, I heard people snickering or mumbling things. I heard the chair by me move as the teacher clapped, okay now everyone talk and brainstorm I can't wait to see what you guys do, now this project will be about each other and how you guys see each other, now get to work" she said as she walked back into her office I sighed as I sat up and saw neon already staring at me. "I better get a good grade, or I'll kick you ass" he threatened as I sighed, but nodded.
I pulled out my sketch book. "Why don't you talk" he asked as I shrugged, I tried to think of different things to draw but nothing was working. He's an asshole and obnoxious with his girlfriend but I'm sure I'd get beat if I drew something like that.
The bell rang as I packed up my pencils and sketch books, I went to stand up but neon grabbed my shoulder and sat me back down. "Do you have a phone or are you too poor" he asked as I pulled it out as he snatched it. "What's your password" he asked looking at me. "Fuck you" I mumbled as he gripped my hair and made me look in his eyes. "Give me the password or I'll smash it" he threatened as I started breathing faster. "That is the password" I said as my eyes were huge as he seemed angry but soon let go of me and looks like he actually regretted what he did.
"What are you doing" I asked trying to look but he's way taller than me. "It's crazy, I've never heard you speak, and the first time you do it's 'fuck you' crazy" he shook his head. "Neon..." I trailed off going to reach for my phone but he swatted my hand away. "Say my name again" he said staring in my eyes. "Neon" I said confused as he licked his lips. "Yeah...." he trailed off as I sighed. "Can I have my phone back" I asked as his phone dinged, I looked at it on the table as I saw my number pop up with a picture that I took a couple days ago, but I don't post pictures of myself, I'm too nervous and no one likes me. "The next time you take pictures where you are hot in them,...send them to me" he winked as he grabbed his phone, handed me my phone back.
"After school, text me your address, so we can get this project over with" he rolled his eyes as he walked out of the room as I followed afterwards, I watched his girlfriend run up to him as I noticed the late bell already rang so I was late for spanish, along with neon but I don't care as I ran past him trying to hurry to class.
