I sat in a wheelchair in my sisters room as she wouldn't wake up, I've had to sit here and watch my mom cry, I can't talk, I physically can't.
The door opened as my mom thought it was the doctor but her face went upset. "Get out...I knew this would happen, you go for my haley and now caitlyn, YOURE FUCKING 18 SHES ONLY 14 how could you do this to a child" she said as I sighed knowing who it was but I wasn't going to turn around to see, it hurts to much.
"You're fucking lucky you aren't In handcuffs" my mom wiped her eyes. "Please, let me explain, it wasn't me" I heard Noen. "Don't lie to me, you've bullied my poor child sense middle school, you kick her in the back when she wasn't looking, you've done that to her so much that one more could lead to her being paralyzed, she almost was from the neck down, now she has to do physical therapy" my mom cried again. "Haley" I heard Noen. "She can't speak, it hurts her" my mom crossed her arms. As he moved my chair to make me look at him. "Please understand that I have been trying to be your friend, I went to walk away when chase told me to do it or he would, I turned back to try and stop him but it was too late, so I ran, I got scared, I was worried that if I stayed there you'd hate me even more when I'm trying so hard to get you to like me and me trying to hang out with you even more please haley, I came to visit you, that must mean something" he said as tears fell down his face. "I hope you and your friend chase, go and rot in hell" I said taking in a deep breath as I coughed, as burning started as I groaned. "Alexa is cheating on you, with him" I said as he nodded. "I knew it" he cried as he laid his head in my lap. "I hate my life haley, I hang out with you to find out who I really am, and I realize I am an idiot. I knew it when we go to high school, all freshman year she ditched me to hang out with him" he cried as I looked at my mom as she watched all of this.
"Noen" I said as he picked his head up. "Yeah" I he asked as I sighed. "It hurts to see you like this, as much as it does to talk" I said taking a breath. "But you never listened to me about anything, Alexa threatened me, that if I told you" I paused taking a break. "About her and chase, she'd kill me, I'm already half way there" I said again taking a break. "I don't care about myself, but your friend, hurt my sister and now she won't wake up, I hope, you're happy with your friends and girlfriend" he wiped his face as he seems upset, he stood up, I'm going to make things right" he said sounding very determined, he turned me to where I was facing Caitlyn, he leaned down beside me and gave me a light peck on the cheek.
I sighed as I heard him walking away and the door shut.
The door reopened as my mom smiled. "Miss Haley, it's time for therapy" I heard the nurse as I sighed as she rolled my chair out of the room.
~a month later~
My sister woke up after two weeks in the hospital, and the entire time, I learned out to walk, and the burning isn't as bad but it still hurts sometimes when I talk fast.
"Honey are you sure you want to go to school" my mom asked as I saw caitlyn sitting on the couch gettin ready to do her school work, once she got out of the hospital, she forgot a lot of things and moms been trying for days to get her to remember, it's been working but it's a slow process. "Yes mom I'm sure, I'll be fine, just make sure caitlyn is okay" I smiled as she nodded. I walked out of the house and got ready to go walk to school when I noticed Noen picking up Zachary.
Weird he doesn't go to school in the morning. "Haley" I heard as I looked over and saw them both looking at me. I looked down as I walked as fast as I could to school but the black Jeep stopped in front of me as I jumped and tapped my finger against the side of my leg. "Hey haley, I heard what happened, are you okay, you look better than what Noen has been telling me" Zachary smiled. "The last time I saw her she sat in a wheelchair and could barley saw a sentence, now she's walking" he smiled happily. "Are you going to school" Zachary asked as I nodded. "Well I've got to go to the school but my truck broke down, so I called Noen, I've got to go get some paperwork for my mom, would you care for a ride" he asked smiling as I shook my head. "I need to walk" I said as Noen rolled his eyes. "Get in the car or I'm forcing you in again" he said as I sighed. I got in the car and as they started driving. "Okay Haley, sense you haven't been to school let me fill you in on what's been going on" Noen smiled as I looked at him. "I broke up with Alexa, she cried, I told her why, I've been hanging out with Layla in art asking her questions and stuff about you, and what you like and love, and I found out that Zachary has been your friend sense he's moved next door to you when you guys were kids, also I'm fight chase now that you're gonna be at school, and you can watch" he said the last part like it was natural. "No, don't" I said as the burning started up. "Wait" Zachary asked. "What" Noen was confused. "Don't fight him, you'll get kicked out and then him and Alexa will come after me" I said as I held my chest. "Haley, calm down, I won't fight chase, but I am dropping him and that whole group" he nodded as I smiled. "Me too, those guys can be assholes, and now that I know you guys broke up Alexa has fucked everyone in the group but me and you" Zachary smiled, telling Noen as he shook his head. "So who kicked me" I asked as Noen sighed. "It was chase" he said as he turned down. The road of the school. "It really was haley, there was a video and everything of Noen walking away, than chase yelled something at him, than chase kicked you as Noen turned around and saw you fly to the ground than your sister running up to chase, hitting him in the face, than Alexa grabbed her as chase ripped her bag off and shoved her too the floor that's when people started running away" Zachary said as I nodded. "Do you have the video" I asked as he nodded. "Can you send it too me" I asked as he nodded. He started typing on his phone as my phone dinged as I looked and saw the video, I clicked on it than saw the same thing Zachary and Noen told me, I smiled as I saved the video and sent it to mom.
"Thanks Zachary" I smiled as he nodded. "No problem" he nodded as I smiled as the car came to a stop, we all got out as Zachary went to the front office, I tried to walk slower than Noen as he stopped and waited for me to caught up with him. "Come on" he laughed as he put his arm around my shoulder. "Am I hurting you" he asked as I shook my head. "Okay" he smiled as I saw people starring at us.
