25. Run Viktor

THE BRONKS'S

Adam's POV.

My wife, and I along with our children Ron, Timmy and Melody got ready. We all hopped into the truck to head to John's. Hoping that maybe he hadn't harmed Mandy. He was going to die. I wasn't sure of how, but all I knew was that he was gonna die. 

I looked back at Melody hoping that she would be safe. Her stomach had gotten quite large and she was due in a month now to give birth. We know so far that the baby would be a girl. We already started thinking of names for the baby girl but nothing good has come to us yet. 

I put the truck in drive and off we went. We would be on the road for a quite a while since it stormed here the other night and the roads were still pretty bad. I drove safely, while my wife placed her hand on my shoulder looking at me. "I know honey I know." I said patting her hand. "Why is Melody coming again?' Ron asked. "Because he needs to see what he has done to me before we kill him." Said Melody.

I drove for about thirty minutes and suddenly I had to stop because Melody was becoming sick so I pulled over for her to puke. We knew we would have to stay pulled over for a while for her to feel better. I was excited to be a grandfather as well as Sarah was excited to be a grandmother. We just wished that we had't let John so close to the kids. 

MEANWHILE, BACK AT JOHN'S CABIN.

Mandy's POV.

John had left for a morning stroll but I wasn't sure of how long he would be gone for. I was helping Viktor pack his things and Beth's things so he could take her. But it wasn't long before John was back saying that the weather was too bad for hunting or walking. When he saw us. 

"What is going on here? Y-you two were planning on leaving weren't you?" He said in anger then rage settled in. "You were gonna leave me weren't you Mandy? You naughty girl." He grabbed me by my wrist keeping me from being able to do anything when he slapped me and I fell to the ground. "John remember she's pregnant!" Viktor said when I looked at him. "Run Viktor run! Take Beth and go." "No!" John grabbed hold of Viktor's arm when I got on top of John hitting him when Viktor got free but Beth was screaming and crying in a little seat. John took hold of Beth giving her to me.

"If you leave now, I won't harm them boy. But if you are not gone I will kill them." Said John. I looked at him in horror and fear. I was shushing Beth who finally stopped screaming and crying. Beth looked up at me and stopped crying. "No, please don't harm them." Viktor pleaded, but I looked at him and nodded for him to leave I knew John wouldn't harm Beth here or me. He loves me too much. 

Vicktor ran out the door when John raced to it and locked it turning his body back to me and laughing. "Put Beth down on the floor and we will talk Mandy." He said in a threatening way. "No, I won't John. I know what you'll do to me." I talked back. "I said put the baby down Mandy and then we will talk. Talking is just exchanging words to one another. You think I'll beat you? Get in the bedroom and we will talk." I knew if I didn't do what he said harm would come to me then where would Beth be? I couldn't leave her alone with this man. So I place Beth down on the carpet while keeping her safe in a pin so she wouldn't get into anything that may cause her harm and into John's room we went. 

After shutting the door my worst fears would soon become a reality. 

Viktor's POV.

I ran through the woods fearing for Mandy and Beth's safety. I knew I would have to find help and soon. I couldn't go back to my homeland. Not with Beth. My best bet was to stay here and try to find time to talk to her. I ran through the woods, exhausted and trying my best to not slip and fall from the now melting snow. 

I ran for who knows how long till I made it out onto the highway and I saw a family driving in their truck so I waved my arms in the air and they stopped. 

"What's wrong sir?" The man asked. "Please, help I was abducted and I have a friend named Mandy who is being held hostage in a log cabin through the woods along with a baby as well." I said out of breath. 

"Did you say the name Mandy?" The man asked. "Yes I did. Do you know her?" I asked. "Shes' out family." I looked up to see Adam his wife Sarah and their children in the back. "Oh, she's the ones she was telling me about." I said excited. "Hop into the truck take us to her." Adam said. I got in and lead the family to John's cabin knowing that war was coming. 

Next chapter will be crazy. War is coming knocking on John's door. LOL .Plus this chapter was short because I am tired but plan to write more tomorrow.
