Jihoon's POV
I walked closer to Yeri and talked to her. "What is it that you want to tell?" I asked. "Um.....I can't say much but please don't tell Jungwoon about this" she said."Why? Is this a secret just between the two of us?" I asked. "Uh....Yeah, I think so" she said. "What is it?" I asked. "Uh....." she trailed off then suddenly Jungwoon came out of my room and went downstairs.
"Why are you guys still in your school uniform?" Jungwoon asked. "Oh uh, it's because we're thirsty just now and went to the kitchen, that's why we're still in our uniform" Yeri said.
"Oh well, better change your clothes. Before it smells. I know, you guys wouldn't want to smell bad so get changed already" she said, acting like a mom as we went upstairs. "That was close" I said. "I know, but at least she didn't know that we weren't actually drinking" Yeri said.
"Go get change first, then meet me outside the house" I ordered. "Okay, I'll meet you there" she said as we went in my room. I went in and took my clothes and went to my mom's room to get changed.
I went outside from the kitchen door so that no one could see me going out. I twisted the doorknob slowly and went out without making noise. I walked to the swimming pool area and sat on the chair near the swimming pool.
"Hey.....Jihoon" Someone called as I turned my head to find out who's the owner of that voice. "Oh, I thought it was Jungwoon" I said as Yeri chuckled.
"You know, I've been waiting for the words in your mouth come out. Cause I'm curious, very curious" I said and smiled alone. "Oh, sorry for making you wait for it" Yeri apologized. "Nah, it's okay" I said.
"So.....what is it, The 'something' you want to tell me?" I questioned. "Maybe it wasn't obvious but Jungwoon.....she....." she trailed off. "She?....." I got more curious. "Okay, let me just tell you everything. Cause it's a bit boring? I guess." She said.
"Jungwoon and I were once close with each other but then.....she got into an accident in the age 9 years old. And she lost all her memories....." she trailed off and sighed. "What actually happened back then?" I asked.
"Well, it's kinda sad to say...she remembered her old friends except me. Because I went somewhere else due to my parents' business trip" she said. "That's so sad.....I know how it feels, Yeri. You just have to stay strong" I comforted.
"It was a few years ago but yet, I still remember it until now. It felt like I just broke up with my boyfriend. Even though I didn't date anyone at that time" she said. "After you got back here, did you visit her?" I asked.
"Yeah, but then again as what I said. She didn't recognize me at all" she said. "Can you describe how it went?" I asked. "Yeah of course. At first, I was excited that I came back here. After I arrive home, I visited Jungwoon and asked Sungwoon if she's home or not. And he said that he'll call her to come down" she said.
"And yes, she went downstairs. But, she made that 'who is she?' face. She didn't recognize me. It hurts me a lot. Sungwoon remembered me but she didn't remember me" she continued.
"Well, I think.....you should just tell her" I said. "No, now is not the right time. She seemed to be happy today. Maybe next time?" Yeri said. "You can just tell her later. At night. She's with me. So it's fine, Yeri" I said.
"Well, I guess you're right. I should tell her later. She's been my friend since diaper alright. I should tell her that should be told before" She said confidently. "By the way......good luck for that, Yeri" I said. "Thanks Jihoon" she thanked me and went inside as I sit and looked at the beautiful sky.
