Willow's pov
"I hope everything I'm about to hear from your teacher is good or else..." I warned. Stacy rolled her eyes. Typical teenager. "Everything you hear will be peachy keen mom I promise." she assured. I looked off the road a second to look at her. She looks so much like her father. I looked back at the road in regret. I shouldn't have let their relationship be ruined like that. "Hey mom? You ok?" Stacy asked worrily. Tears were starting to fall. I quickly wiped them away and smiled. "I'm ok sweetie." I replied. I've been doing that for years. That's the hardest thing about being a mother. You never want to let them see you break. It scares them. "Ok." Stacy started, "Right up here." she pointed towards the high school parking lot. I pulled in and quickly found a spot and parked. "Meetcha back here!" she called as she run towards her friends. 'Just like me.' I thought as I walked to the school. There were 8 periods so that means 8 different teachers. I decided to go to the ones I know I won't here any bad news from. English, Social Studies, Volleyball, Spanish, Science, Home Ec, then Health. I saved the worse for last...Algebra. Stacy is a very bright child but sometimes, especially in math, I feel like she thinks 1+1=11. I knocked on the door before entering. I entered the room and was stunned. Stacy's algebra teacher was gorgeous. The teenage boy dream. Blonde hair, blue eyes, and very curvaceous. "Hello Miss Richardson I'm Miss Ernest your daughter's algebra teacher." she introduced her self putting out her hand. I took it and shook it before taking a seat. "So, Miss Ernest, How's Stacy doing in this class?" I asked. She smiled. "Please call me Evie and Stacy is...well...she's managing." she replied. Not exactly the reply I wanted. "Oh? How bad is it?" I asked concerned. She bit her bottom lip and clasped her hands together while crossing her beautiful tanned legs. "Well not to sound rude but if she worked as hard as she runs her mouth she'd be an honor student." She adjusted her glasses. "Oh dear well how bad are her grades?" "barely above a D. I suggest some tutoring and maybe even punishment if her grades don't improve." She suggested. "I agree. But I'm just a single mother on minimum wage I don't think I can afford a tutor for her." I said. "I could tutor her. Give her one on one lessons. I don't mind staying a little later after work to help my students." She offered. I could've kissed her. "Thank you so much...Evie." I gave gratitude. "No problem..." she started to say. "Willow." I finished for her. "Well it was very nice meeting you, Willow, and I hope to see your daughters grade improve fairly soon." she said. "It was nice meeting you too, Evie, and for her sake I hope it does too." I replied. She giggled. I don't know why but it made me feel good, making her giggle, but maybe that's just the kinda person I am. I walked to the car and about halfway there I saw Stacy and her boyfriend making out on the car. I could've thrown up. I whistled instead. They saw me and kissed goodbye. Stacy was in the car when I got there. I hopped in. "Sorry you had to see that mom." she chuckled. She wasn't sorry she was lying trying to be innocent. "Yeah yeah whatever. But I hoped you enjoyed that cause that might be the last time you do that till that D in Algebra becomes at least a B." I warned. She looked at me shocked. "No mom please don't!" she begged. "It'll be alright once you get your grade up and Evie- errr I mean Miss Ernest will tutor you after school." I said. "Oooookkkkaaaaaayyyyy?" Stacy said suspiously. "What?" I asked. "You should be careful mom don't let her lesbian charm getchu." she said. I pulled out into the road. "Whataya mean 'lesbian charm'?" I asked. "Nothing it's just some rumor going around school saying that she's a lesbo and she's trying to get with some kidds's mom." she admitted. "That's awful. Why would you guys be spreading rumors like that?" I asked. "Catching dem feels already ma?" she joked and nudged me with her elbow. I blushed. "No I'm not catching 'dem feels' or whatever." I said concentrating on the road. Stacy is the only one who knows I'm bisexual. She found out on her own though and I just confirmed her suspiousions. I haven't worked up the gut to tell my other kidds. "I mean it's ok if you are I mean she is pretty hot." Stacy said. I was dumbfounded. "Oh dear Jesus." I mumbled. *Buzz Buzz* my phone went off. "Hey mom you got a text." "who from?" "Evie ERNEST! OMG MOM! FOR SOMEONE WHO SAYS THEY'RE NOT CATCHING FEELINGS!" she exclaimed. My face couldn't get any redder. "Just because we traded numbers doesn't mean I'm catching feelings." I said. "Well what does it mean?" she questioned me. "I did it for you." I said. "I gotta tell everyone that Miss Ernest is going to be my step mom." she said. "No don't do that." I said. She laughed. "Not yet at least." After that we were quiet the whole ride. Jesus help me.
