the herron household was warm and lovely. a lovely women with a beautiful smile resided there with her family. the youngest child, reese, a beautiful girl who enjoyed skating with her friend isla had now secluded herself in a small corner. zachary, the oldest of three children, although extremely talented was often bullied in school. zachary's solace was his piece of music and his beautiful brown haired best friend christina. zachary lost his passion for music the night his little brother, ryan bid good bye to the world.
ryan was a beautiful child. like reese, he was likable and happy and like zach, he was talented. liked by everyone this little boy lost his life in a car accident. the always happy family lost their smiles. reese refused to step out of her house. zachary blamed himself for the unfortunate death of his brother.
it was a saturday night, zachary was playing his first musical concert. his brother ryan was supposed to attend the concert and a play a piece of an original song that they both wrote together. the crowd waited for the special guest to arrive but no one came. ryan had lost his life in a car crash on his way to the event. since that day zachary was determined to never touch his guitar again.
christina, although beautiful and smart was also bullied at school. christina and zach were each others support systems through out high school. at a first glance they look like a perfect couple. but zachary was not interested in girls at all and christina loved zachary as a brother.
opposite to the herron household was the avery-stanford household. the two families have been neighbors for more than eleven years. kristin and myta are both very good friends. isla, kristin's daughter and reese get along very well too. naturally one would expect zachary and jack to be good friends too but the two barely exchanged a smile.
jack was the golden boy. he was beautiful, talented and loved. he never felt the need to talk to a boy like zachary. although he would watch him sit in a corner as he munched on his apple, wanting to talk to him, his group of friends would never allow that.
last night when jack found his girlfriend, gabriela's body, he was traumatized. he lost the only person who really understood who he really was. the little piece of paper in her hands had crushed his heart. he did not understand what those words really meant but she had done it for him. she died because of him.
the two paths diverge into one as the autumn leaves fall unveiling how beautiful it is to let things go.
