I'm fine •4•

Hui PoV

Walking into the office I was greeted by smiling faces and warm hello's. It was evident no one else felt the same way I did about you, everyone was sad, of course, but it didn't effect their everyday life like it did to me. I smiled and replied to my colleagues before turning the corner and bumping into our best friend, Hyunggu, he smiled at me and gave me a hug, he knew how hard these past months had been for me but was always there when I needed him to cheer me up, however he knew I was hurting more than I showed. No matter how hard he tried to make me forget you were always in the back of my mind. He didn't know about how I cry every night over you, he doesn't know about my secret investigation into your disappearance, he doesn't know about the danger I put myself in trying to locate you.
"Hey Hui! Me and the boys are going to the bar tonight, please come!," He looked me in the eyes almost begging me to come out with our friends again. I haven't done that for a while now, maybe it would be a good thing?.
"Sorry, I'm busy!" Is all I could say.
"No your not Hui, I know you ... please come with us, you need a break, friendly company never hurts"
"I'm fine, Hyunggu, I don't need a break... I'm fine"
Hyunggu snarled at me and shook his head.
"Your coming!... I'll pick you up at 7"
I reluctantly agreed to the plans being forced at me and sighed as I saw him walk off to his desk the opposite side of the room. I looked down onto my desk a large pile of papers towered over me. Today was going to be difficult I knew it. All I could think about was those words.
He's already gone.

A few long hours past and I noticed it was time to leave, I packed up my case and dragged myself out the door and back to our home.

At 7 there was a loud knock at the door, Hyunggu, I stood up and waddled over to open it for him. I wasn't expecting to see all of our friends, Jinho, Hongseok, Changgu, Yuto, Wooseok and Hyunggu of course but someone at the back of the group caught my attention.
"Yanan??" I asked in shock "when did you get back," a smile creeped onto my face as I lunged myself forward the group parting to make a path as I threw my arms around Yanan's waist. He hugged me back tightly. I missed him so much, he left 5 months ago on a trip back home to China to resolve a few family issues. This was the first time I had seen him since you disappeared. I pulled out of the Hug and stared up to him. He weakly smiled.
"How are you?" He asked in a gentle voice.
"I'd be lying if I said I was fine," I replied. Yanan pulled me into another hug this one a little softer then the last.

With the group, I made my way down the steps in front of the house towards the two cars that awaited us. We climbed in. I sat in the back of the 5 seater. Hyunggu and Changgu in the front, Hongseok on my left and an empty seat on my right, you'r seat. I stared at the empty seat and my heart ached not seeing you sitting there like usual but before I knew it I was snapped out of my trance and we were at the bar. Tonight I would try to have some fun I thought to myself.

But you were always there with me in my thoughts.
