A beast of a man and real animal, someone who wasn't who or what he seemed, someone looking like he was all man, when being a man was what he longed to be.
"He really is an animal."Trixie repeated with pride. Lay on the sofa, with her neighbour slumped in the armchair, the empty bottles, glasses and cans scattered around the floor gave a true indication as to what the women had been doing.Drink, gossip and conversation had long since overshadowed any upset and concern once the contents of what had been the mini bar began to diminished.
"He must be."Sally agreed."I count myself lucky if Bob makes it twice, make that once."She giggled. Sipping yet more alcohol.'Drunk as skunks.'Giggling uncontrollably, the two enjoying one another's company were blissfully oblivious to what was happening elsewhere.Much too far away to hear anything, the sirens sounded by numerous police cars heading in the same direction was something those in the city grew use to living alongside.'Loud & noisy?'Both females agreed to needing a good nights sleep.Remaining together until they could no longer fight the urge to retire to their individual beds, saying goodnight, they promised to catch up, the next morning.
"Maybe afternoon."Sally put her hand to her head as she bid Trixie goodnight.'Maybe it should have been good morning?'Neither was aware of the fact the clock had moved into the early hours.
Agreeing, when left alone Trixie smiled and said yes, her husband, her Jax was an animal.A charmer, his being able to entice with his eyes went hand in hand with his ability to be charming.'Not a ladykiller like his brother?' Jax was a man who preferred to stand back and watch, forever complimenting his ability to hear all, Trixie's husband never purposely ignored anyone.'The dark silent type?'Why had he chosen her? Why had she fallen for him? An animal, remembering how he'd said he wanted to wait.Since their first time, there had been no holding him back.'Strong?'There were times she had to tell him to slow down, to calm down and on the odd occasion she'd asked him to stop.'A beast in the bedroom?'When away from others, her man sometimes revealed a side she didn't recognise.'Why hadn't she believed him?'Would anyone believe the unbelievable?Nervous, on their first night as man and wife she'd watched him sleep, whilst during their second night as Mr. and Mrs.he'd asked if she was sure.'A beast?'When touching the woman he loved, he was all man.'Normal?' Never having experienced the touch of another,Trixie wouldn't know what was normal, being a girl, she'd seen pictures and heard stories, but before her first time with Jax, Trixie hadn't experienced being with another. When naked he looked great.'Sculptured & toned?'When with her husband, everything looked and felt fine.
Silence being interrupted by a strange unexpected voice."You know too much."Had she fallen asleep and dreamt the sudden appearance of Jace telling her she would never be free?'The wolves would never let her go.'Sitting up with a start, having failed to make it to her bed, she pulled her uncooperative body up off the sofa and into a standing position.'What a mess?'Fetching the bin from the kitchen, she intended to scoop everything up and discard the bottles, cans, wrappers and paper plates left where they'd fallen or been placed by women to have become intoxicated and oblivious to some of their actions.Trixie could, but wouldn't leave such a mess for Darren.'There to help.'The young male employed two days a week to attend to what the lady of the house couldn't keep up with, often made comment on his chores list being too short.'A bump!'Was Jace there? Glancing to the clock as she froze, stopping what she was doing. The female alone saw it was 3:33am.'Had Jax returned?'Standing in the kitchen, having returned the filled bin, she noticed the flap to the shoot which sent household waste down into the ground floor dustbins was moving like it moved when something had been sent through.'Could something come up?'Was the shoot another way Jax would use to return?'Had Jace left?' Had it been the presence of her brother-in-law which woke her from her drunken slumber? Should she send the rubbish she'd collected down to where it was stored before being collected by those contracted to deal with what no one wanted?'Was there someone inside her home?'Trixie couldn't help wondering why the swinging door to the shoot was unlocked?'She hadn't unlocked it.'Maybe Sally had sent something down earlier, maybe her neighbour had tidied something before she left?'Not able to remember?'Trixie decided to lock what was open and go to her bed.Was Jace there and where was Jax?'Monsters or men?'How could two who were charm filled and admired, not be the brothers others were able to see? Darren was the only other with a key to number 66.Trixie's domestic god wasn't due, but would often arrive early enough to prepare a wakeup coffee and catch a glimpse of the male who like many, he had fallen for.'How could her husband be a werewolf?'Everyone to meet him, loved and admired Jax Wood, would anyone go near him if they knew?'Unbelievable?'Maybe it was all a pretence, an elaborate lie conjured up to hide the fact his wife wasn't the only love in his life?'A multi timing cheat?'Why was she questioning the man she'd never before mistrusted?
