FRIENDS AND FOE

The alarm clock was ringing in my ears on a high volume. I shouted,  "Dream off the clock". But as usual, she didn't.

The volume of the clock was so loud and irritating that I covered my ears with pillow and dig my head in blanket as much as I could.

"EVE! EVE! wake up it's your first day in university and if you didn't wake up you'll be late for your classes".Dream said reminding me.

As a typical teenager, waking up early in the morning was not my thing.

When I realized that, I'm late I jumped out of my bed like a monkey, took my towel to the bathroom and hurriedly done all my routine. 

You know, my routine like brushing, bathing, checking self 1000 times in mirror, changing hairstyles, rehearsing lines for introduction and more. I was a bit nervous.

"Ok bye! I'm going". I said waving my hand, like a child going school for the first time.

"Always remember what you had promised me earlier." My Dreamy said caressing my cheeks and patting my big donut, stubborn head.

"Bye!take care. Don't misbehave or get yourself in trouble". Dream said  directly looking into my eyes in a warning tone.
"I won't". The words left from my mouth, sealing with a smile.

I had promised Dream that I'll behave well and won't cause trouble to anyone, along with that I'll try to make new friends. Most difficult part of my life.

I heard a bell ringing in the corridors. And everybody started heading towards their classes. I followed the college map and found my class.                  
I entered the class and saw quite many students. They were doing their regular business chit-chatting with each other.

I huffed, lowered my head and ignored eye contact with everybody and sat on an unoccupied bench.
While observing the class, someone kept a hand on my shoulder. I looked back and saw two girls standing.

The one who dropped her hand on my shoulder looked quite smart, cool and chilled.
And the other with brown hairs and gummy smile seemed to be friendly and quite playful in nature. She looked native to this place.

"Hi! My name is Lia Scarlett. I am from Australia and this is my friend Kim Marianne she is Korean, although she knows English."
Hi, I'm Marianne. You can call me Maria".
I bowed and said, "Nice to meet you".
"My name is Eve, I am from India".

"Hmmmm. India. You mean curry. I love that". Maria said licking her lips and touching her stomach.
"You're so foody Maria".I claimed.

Hahahahaha. We all laughed.....

Time skipped...

I thought I spend my day wonderfully but my happiness didn't last long..........

While heading towards the hostel,         I felt someone was watching me. But I ignored. When we were about to reach the hostel, Maria kept on jumping and playing in excitement for making new friends.
But accidentally, she bumped her head into someone and made the next person fall on the ground.

Lia scolded Maria and made her apologize, which she did. I offered my hand to the girl but, she refused by slapping my hand with an attitude.
She cleaned her dress and got up.

"Hey! You stupid bitches. Can't you see a person with your two big eyes?
Do you even know how expensive this dress ?".
"Can't you even see" Huh! A girl said violently.

"By seeing their dressing sense. They can't even imagine to afford it". Another girl standing right next to her said while giggling and covering her mouth.

Lia once had told me her real name is  Katherine Adams, although people address her kate.
She was the only daughter of the chairman of the university. She was the most popular and beautiful girl of the university people used to call her the diva and to whom every single boy willingly wanted to date.

Many people passing by began whispering with each other and even a few started recording it and took some photos.

"IDIOTS"."This...this is the problem of you middle- class people just getting jealous from us. And doing all this nonsense."

I and lia listened to all this and didn't spoke a word, cause it was our side's fault. But Maria was Ill-tempered she tried to answer back but we stopped her although she kept insulting us.

"You... All three of you seems like freshers! "The girl with short red hairs wearing crop- top with denim jeans standing in left exclaimed, pointing towards us.
She took a step forward and started pushing Maria with both of her hands, which made her fall on the ground.

"FU#K OFF! YOU bitches. YOUR PARENTS ARE ALSO LIKE YOU. BLOODY BEGGARS".Without thinking once she raised her hand and attempted to swing it on Maria's face, but I lose my control and fiercely caught her wrist.

"Sorry, Dream can't help myself''.The boundaries of my patience got broken. I hold her hand, twisted it badly. By seeing these two girls from both of her sides tried to attack me but I flinched, swung my other hand quickly crashed on her neck. She fell unconsciously on the ground. By seeing the both of them, the girl who was about to attack me stopped midway.

"Leave my hand"! Aaaaaa... Kate screamed in pain.
"Don't you know, my father's position here. I'm the daughter of the chairman..... ".She said tapping her foot in frustration.

"I don't care who your father is and not even interested to know. So, get to the point, if you want me to spare you then apologize for what you just said."

"APOLOGIZE", I tightened my grip on her hand and started crushing her bone. For me, her hand seemed to be a carrot to whom I can shatter in pieces easily anytime.

Quickly, she apologized for her doings, begged me to leave her.
I let go of her hand and said while glaring.

"Hey! listen, don't you dare to come in my way because you don't know anything about me". I said in a hazardous voice.

I cut off the distance between us and whispered in her ears.
  "So, sweetheart don't dig your own grave, with your own hands, by coming into my way."
