LUNAR'S ALPHA

SHOCKED

It was a dark smoggy midnight, chills running through in my room like a ghost silently coming and going.

The weather's unpredictable here. There was a strange change in the behaviour of the weather. It was dark as beast showed the symbol of evil in the sky .

Yeah! A bit dramatic.

As I lie awake in my bed, continuously staring at the ceiling and thinking what surprises the next day will bring my eyes begin to grow heavy and started to doze off.

But suddenly I heard a noise of breaking down of a flower vase coming from the hall. The hall which was closer to our room from others as we lived on the ground floor, others on the first floor.

I gain my consciousness and heard heavy footsteps entering the house.

The thoughts in my mind muddled up. I quickly jumped out of my bed and reached to my phone to check the time as it turned out to be an ungodly hour of the night.

The first thought popped up in my mind, maybe there's a ghost in our house .

Goosebumps covered all my body with a spine chilling sensation.

But they don't exist right? It's all stories.

Damn it! I think there's a robber in house.

Quickly, I walked from one edge to other of the another bed and tried to wake up Dream.

"Dream....wake up!"
"Dream....mm!DREAM"I whispered, tapped her shoulder again and again but she didn't even flinched once.

Probably Dream is in her dreams.

I sighted, stand up annoyed and decided to knock down the robber all by myself.

"That pest is dead."I muffled while rotating my head in three-sixty, cracking knuckles ,producing pop sound.

I slipped in my nikee slippers, twisted the doorknob and sneak peek through the wooden door where I saw a tall person in black with a cap and mask on, hiding his face. The figure looked familiar to me but I wasn't able to recognize him due to my weak memory.

Or maybe because I was freaked out somehow.

Judging from the outer looks it was a man with bulging muscles and shaped figure. He was a workout person. Must spend most of his time in gym. Board shoulders, muscled thighs and......

"Oh hell! Why am I appreciating his body? "I shouted at myself in my mind and slapped my head and started focusing on the mission.

Yeah! Mission, but not mission impossible the possible one.

The man only showing his beautiful soft eyes. His brown eyes contained deep darkness ,essence of despair and filled with sadness.

I felt being simply hypnotise by his presence. He was attractive and charmi-

"No! No! No! He's a robber. Focus Eve focus ." I slapped my head, made myself to concentrate.

He paid no attention on broken vase and continued walking carelessly. He went upstairs and entered a room silently but came outside after a couple of seconds.

He made his way towards the kitchen.
The sound of his heavy moving footsteps were the only thing audible in the silent night except my racing heartbeat.

As he reached the kitchen he drank a glass of water while sitting on the dinning chair and pulled out a crystal blue pendant from his pocket ,which seems to be very expensive. He brushed his fingers on the pendant again and again.

However, he must have robbed a jewelry shop too Or maybe from the room he just went in.

I was quick in making my moves. I opened half of the door to make myself out and closed it behind, while making the move, he didn't noticed me coming.
