Eve's pov

It was almost 9:15 pm after a span of time walking long alone on the road, I finally reached closed to the hostel but while looking at it, I remembered an hour ago when I left the hostel there were no signs of smoke.

As soon as I arrived my jaw dropped I inhaled smoke and choke profusely. Which suddenly I saw coming out of the building.

There were shouts, cries and a lot of confused noises, I rushed to find out what was happening and the guard told that the girl's hostel was on flames. They had caught fire and it was ranging dangerously.

I immediately ran and saw our hostel's first floor was on fire. Without wasting a second, I immediately took out my phone and called the fire brigade. I even tried to make contact with Dream but, she didn't pick up her phone.

I ran to the place where the fire was raging. I found the hostel's A-wing was on fire. The students were simply crying, shouting and wailing helplessly. A big crowd had gathered outside the building.

Amidst hue and cry, some of the people were throwing water, others stood to throw dust, and still, others gave a shot with a fire extinguisher.

But the fire roared for joy and consumed all in its path. Oh!what a feast! The flames sent up thick black smoke and devoured the hostel.

The flames were rising high up towards the sky.

Everybody gathered in groups beside me. My eyes dropped on person to person in order to find Dream. I was tensed and didn't even saw her yet.

At the last, I found Dream and hugged her" a-are you okay?"Did you got hurt anywhere"? I asked worryingly, examining her body for some scars.
"I'm okay,". Dream answered calmly patting my back. "I am totally fine."

Everyone safely escaped from the building.
"Hhhhhh! Thank god everyone's safe".I sighed in relief resting a hand on my heart.

"No! No!" Someone started yelling hysterically from the corner. "Lia...Lia is still missing".
I ran towards her direction as she was crouching on a bench coughing up. It was Rachel, Lia's roommate.

"What? Are you serious?"
"Where is she, "I asked roaring.
"I think she's sti-still in-inside," Rachel exclaimed as she cried her eyes out while coughing up and struggling to breathe.

Then I recognized that Lia is an asthmatic patient. Without thinking once, I didn't wait for the fire brigade and went inside the building, where the fire was extremely high.

It was excruciatingly hot almost felt like my skin's gonna peel off as I continued to go up the stairs and arrive onto the floor.

I raised my foot and banged Lia's door a few times until it finally opened, and found her body half fainted on the floor in the middle of the room.

The flames grew hot and filled the area with their wrath and fury the flame grew more intense it blazed until became fierce imps danced right out of to the grate and onto the sheets rested on the bed.

Then with flaming footsteps, they rampaged their way to the curtains and other things presented in the room turned into ashes.

With its deadly toxic talons, the flames destroy everything in its way.

"Lia, I am here. Lia!Lia!wake up!" I said inhaling smoke and coughing my breath out.
She awakened but was not able to walk although, she tried many times.
