THE WHAT IFS PART 5

Kane has his arms wrapped around Brandyn and Summerlyn as they ride in the back of the private car service to their hotel. They would be staying two nights in the city and 2 upstate with a friend of his named Cooper. He too, was also a new father & recent groom as well. He was one of the first people that Kane had an in depth conversation about Summerlyn, and proposing too. Cooper, had always kept it straight with him and he appreciated that factor. They arrive at the hotel and the clerk says Mr. and Mrs. Brown, we've been expecting you. Summerlyn, squeals when she walks in and sees the dozens of roses that Kane, had specifically ordered ahead of their arrival. Her smile each day,was his ultimate goal. She turns around and places a lush lipsmacker on him. Awwwwww!

Kane, in kisses her back. Ummmmm, Cherry! Summerlyn, that is correct!

Kane places Brandyn and his car seat on the bed and pulls the rest of the bags into the suite. They had an entire living space at their disposal.

Summerlyn- Kane this place is amazing.

Kane- was hoping you would like it.

Summerlyn- you did good hubby!

Kane smirks his signature smirk. Thanks baby. You want to shower first and I'll check Brandyn before we head out to dinner?

Summerlyn- sounds good.

Dinner was Ollie's Sichuan Restaurant Kane had the crispy orange beef special and Summerlyn the chicken and broccoli special. Brandyn, had a bottle and some applesauce and chicken.

After filling up, they headed to do a little shopping at Sephora which fulfilled all of Summerlyn's make up dreams. She pushed the stroller and Kane carried her 3 bags of goodies. They also hit up a few other stores grabbing Brandyn, a few things and some souvenirs for her mom, dad and brother. Kane, happily paid for whatever, not concerned about the cost as he had been tucking away each pay check for his future wife.

 Summerlyn protested and Kane kissed her quiet. Their two days in the city passed quickly and then, Cooper came and grabbed them to head upstate. Cooper had come by himself and upon their return back to the house, he'd realize that was a mistake.

 Normally, his wife was very bubbly and sweet. However, they were greeted by the sound of crying as they pulled into the garage. The kind of crying that had been going on for hours apparently. Cooper, leads them inside and they put all their bags in the guest room. Cooper, excuses himself and goes to find Nikki, his wife. Nikki, is in the bedroom crying along Jada-rose. Cooper, rushes to her side and kisses her on the head. He takes the baby from her and starts to sing. Jada-rose quiets instantly.

Nikki, sighs and says i couldn't get her to settle down for anything. I'm going to take a shower. Cooper, sure, sure babe. Kane and Summerlyn and the baby are here. Nikki smiles. K, won't be long. She goes in the bathroom and locks the door. Cutting the water on, she slides to the shower floor and cries. The water dampens her hair and body.

 She sits, silently prays to herself and then snaps back. Having this baby had been a test to her inner strength. She was able to care for herself and her husband effortlessly. However, this little human consumed her and she didn't know how much of a burden, being needed all the time could become. She didn't want to talk to Cooper about it, but she was starting to resent Jada-rose. She didn't want too, but she did. 

Cooper, is downstairs with the guests when Nikki, reappears. She plucks a kiss on Cooper's lips and smiles brightly for her guests. Cooper says well, hello. Nikki, this is Kane and Summerlyn and their son, Brandyn and this is my wife Nikki and you have already met Jada- rose. She smiles and gives them hugs. Sorry, for not being right down when you guys arrived. Summerlyn, gives her a bubbly smile. It's okay we know how mama life is girl. Nikki, smiles thanks. Who is this gorgeous little man. Brandyn gives her a huge smile and reaches for her. Summerlyn says are you flirting bubba? He blows some spit bubbles and smiles at her too. Kane says so Coop are we going to hit the store for this b-b-q or what?
