The girl walked from light to light through the trailor park. Her fuzzy socks, the only thing separating her feet from the pavement, were picking up dirt. As she walked, a sense of euphoria washed over her, and she began humming. The orange glow of the street lamps gave the world around her a beautiful aesthetic. She was glad she hadn't continued down the dark main road. There was alot of wild life in the area and she didnt want to risk encountering a raccoon(the scariest of nighttime critters). For some odd reason, she figured she'd be safe as long as she stayed in well lit areas. Her thoughts were interrupted when she saw water. Falling water... was it raining? No. she wasn't getting wet, so it couldn't be raining. Then she spotted the sprinkler and realized that it was a lawn sprinkler mean to water the grass. The odd thing was, it was pointed in the wrong direction. Instead of watering the lawn, it was spraying into a newly formed puddle on the pavement... she eventually moved on (after a few minutes of jumping through the water like a little kid...) and she continued walking, following the lights down to the other end of the park. Eventually she reached a road, the main road. It wasn't as well lit as the trailor park, but she figured that if she was going to get anywhere then she'd have to brave a little darkness. So she took a breath in, squared her shoulders, and walked on down the long road ahead.
