They set sail on the Transan, Sola took the helm because she roughly knew the way to the Triangle, Arlon took the map, he knew how to work all sorts of maps, Darin, Livia, Saife, Jeremy, and Shanel all walked and worked around the ship.  With the wind on their side and the ocean mist brushing against their faces they were on route to destroy the stone and never have to bother with the vikings again. They continued moving towards their location, Safie looked into the water and saw dolphins swimming in the water, Jeremy stood next to her as they watched the beauty of the sea.

    “It’s so beautiful.” Safie said.

“Always wanted to take you out on the open water, just under different circumstances.” said Jeremy, he slid his hand over to her hand and they held each other tight.  They gazed into each other's eyes, they were interrupted by the push of a wave, the wave knocked them down, Jeremy laid on top of her as she looked up at him.

“Morlem-vehiele'-hollemstrafi. (This reminds me of that night.)” Safie said.

“Alronk-whamile'-moosfocoulet. (Except this time, it’s day time and we’re not alone.)” said Jeremy, Livia walked over to them.

“Am I interrupting anything?” she asked. They quickly got up and continued to move around.  “Son, may I speak with you?” he moved over to Livia and they walked towards the bow of the ship.

“Ok look,” Jeremy said.  “First of all, I just wanna say-” he was interrupted by a hug from his mother.

“First of all.” she said.  “Congrats for having an elvish girlfriend, not very many non elves can do that, they’re very high class people.  And second of all, next time you wanna sneak off with her to have a little fun.  Remember I’m a witch and know what’s going on in your head.” even though Jeremy already knew that, he was still a little creeped out.

“DRIFT OFF THE STARBOARD BOW!” shouted Sola, everyone looked to the right side of the ship and saw a piece of wood drifting on the water, but there was something on the wood, shaped like a human.

“That’s not just driftwood.” Darin said, he grabbed his eye glass and took a closer look at the wood.  “WOMAN OVERBOARD!” he shouted.

“Grab some nets, rope, anything to get her on the ship!” Arlon ordered, Shanel found some string, tied it to the end of her arrow, and shot the arrow on the driftwood, she pulled the woman closer to them, Safie and Livia jumped into the water, swam over to the woman, Jeremy threw some rope over to them, they tied the rope to the ends of the driftwood allowing everyone to pull them up.  Once they got back onto the boat, they took a better look at the woman, she had a piece of wet cloth covering her from the waste down, she had dark pink hair, red lips, dark green eyes, she wore a seaweed type bra, had some teal scales on her right wrist and her hands had fins in the spaces of her fingers.

“Who is she?” Shanel asked.

“I think the better question is,” Livia then removed the wet cloth from her waste, revealing a light purple fish tail, with fins at the end and on her hips, she had sparkly scales on the lighter part of her tail, holes on the top showing more skin.  “what is she?”

“She’s a bloody mermaid.” Darin said.

“Are they good or bad?” Arlon asked.  “Cause I’ve seen some films that say both things and after a while it gets really confusing.”

“Hard to tell.” Sola said.  “Should we try waking her up?” the sound of fast moving water caught everyone’s attention, they turned around to see light blue fish men with light grey second skin, dark blue tails with fins at the end and on their hips, they had black eyes with light reflective dots on them.

“Mermen.” Jeremy said, everyone pulled their weapons out.

“You’re trespassing in Aqualum waters, leave now and you shall live.” said one of the mermen, they beard no weapons but their fingers turned into claws, their tails moved like a snake so they could move on land.

“We need to pass through here so we can go to the Bermuda Triangle.” Arlon siad.  A merman screeched at him then pointed towards the mermaid that laid unconscious behind the team.

“You go to Triangle for what? To cook our kind! We give no safe passage.  Kill them and save our kin!” he shouted, they leaped towards the group, Jeremy held his hand up, the mermen bounced off an invisible wall that he made, the team then charged after the mermen, one tried to jab Jeremy, he blocked the attack with his staff, poked him in the stomach, then kicked him out of the boat.

Safie clashed her knives with the merman’s claws, she then did a backflip off of his body and threw her knife at his head, she grabbed it and quickly cleaned it off as she swung it around in the air.

The blood got in some of the mermen’s eyes, blinding them, Sola then kicked the blinded mermen off the boat, fought off the others with her sword.  Darin jumped in with his ax and chopped the merman’s hand clean off, then with his sword he stabbed the man in the tail. Sola kicked him off too.

Livia used her staff as a bo-staff and fought off the mermen, shooting bits of magic to send them flying away.  Arlon pulled his guns out and aim for their heads, one smack his gun out of his hand, grabbed his arm, he then shot the merman in the head with his arm cannon.  As they kept on fighting, more and more kept coming up from the ocean, eventually they had the team huddled in a corner.

“Any bright Ideas, Jeremy?” Arlon asked.

“Nothing comes to mind right now.” he replied.  Just then, there was a loud high pitched screeching sound, the mermen went flying away by some barely visible ring waves of sound.  The team ducked and covered their ears, in a matter of minutes the mermen flew back into the water and swam away from the boat in fear and pain.  Once the waves went away, everyone looked at where the scream was coming from, it was the mermaid, she was fully conscious and took many deep breaths.

"Who are you?" Livia asked.

"Eresîselfriakì." She said.

"Do you speak english?" Arlon asked.

"Yes." Said the mermaid. "My name is Aquarile.  I'm a siren." Everyone was shocked, they have heard of Sirens before, but never seen one of felt their power before, she slithered passed the group and looked under the boat.  "They'll be back with more men next time. Now that they know you're not regular Landkainians."

"Landkanians?" Repeated Shanel.  "What the hell is that?"

"That's you." Aquarile said.  "Land walkers, creatures that don't live in the earth's great oceans." She slithered back to them, and closely examined them to have better knowledge of who saved her.  "Human, Bowman, Elf, Dwarf, Half Giant, and...a Witch and Wizard...you must be the fellowship that killed the Dark Force."

"You know of us?" Jeremy asked.

"Everyone does.  How many times do you see a group of such races joined together?"

"Have you seen or read J.R.R. Tolken?" Darin asked.

"Who?" Aquarile questioned. "Where are you headed?"

"The Bermuda Triangle," said Safie.  "So we can destroy this stone." Aquarile's eyes lightened up.

"You won't survive.  Only one person has gone there and made it back alive."

"Who's that?" Sola asked.

"His name is Orlfam." Aquarile answered.

"Haha! That old bastard is still alive!" Darin shouted.  "Where is he?"

"He hangs around an Inn that's not far from here.  Called The Dancing Pebble, I know the way.”

“Then lead us there.” Livia said.

“I direct better in water.” Arlon then put a bracelet around her wrist.

“Waterproof tracker, start leading.” he said.  Aquarile then leaped into the water and swam fast, with the rest of the team following behind her.
