The sky turned darker, they approached a misty area in the ocean, once the mist cleared there was a little building, built on the top of a rock, the edges looking as if they were about to lean off and fall. They docked the boat at the edge of the dock, Aquarile jumped back on the boat.
“He should be right in there.” she said, Sola grabbed a cloak that was hanging off of the mainsail.
“Here, cover yourself with this.” she said. The cloak covered Aquarile from her head down to where her tail bent on land. “You may wanna do something about your tail.” Sola suggested. Aquarile looked at her tail, she then closed her eyes and her tail turned into her skin color then it looked like the scales were slowly peeling off, her tail then turned into legs covered in mucus and dead skin.
“Is this ok?” she asked. Arlon, Darin, and Sola looked with googly eyes at the sight of what happened, but it wasn’t just the sight of a tail turning into human legs that was on their minds. Livia and Jeremy snapped their fingers, snapping the team out of their erotic trances.
“Let’s get moving.” said Safie. They began to walk up the stairs, as they walked, Jeremy heard the stone’s high pitched ring again, he fell to his knees, for the ringing he heard caused him intense pain. “Rûvëllk? What’s going on?” Safie asked, scared for her beloved’s health and state of mind.
“It’s this damn stone, it’s ringing, it’s...it’s…” he couldn’t finish what he was saying for the pain was to hard. Safie placed her hands on his head, a small light shone from her fingertips as she whispered elven words. Jeremy got back up and was in good health. Livia placed three fingers on the back of his head, green mist reached his head and kept him stable.
“That should do it.” Livia said. They reached the top of the rock and made it to the Inn. there was singing going on in the wooden building.
“Alright,” said Arlon, coming up with a plan. “Jeremy, Livia, Saife, and Darin, you four take Aquarile with you into the Dancing Pebble and find this Orlfam. Shanel, and Sola stay here with me, we’ll keep a watch out for anything that resembles a Viking ship, or anything Mer-like approaching our way.”
“What should we be expecting from this guy?” Jeremy asked Darin.
“Orlfam is a strong dwarf,” Darin said. “he knows how to smash the head of a Goblin with his hammer, how to make a battering ram out of four cauldrons and more.” he opened the door, showing a bunch of drunken men sitting around rounded tables, there was a busty woman, working behind the bar.
Leading the people in song was a dwarf standing on top of a table, the dwarf had a long white beard with a braided mustache and beard hair under his bottom lip, he had long hair on his head on his head that looked like a shark fin. He wore dark burgundy sleeveless robes, light black vest, armored sleeves, grey leather vambraces, black pants, a belt was wrapped around his waist and it held a long gold hammer, and big boots with fur on the tops of them.
He held his mug high in the air and shouted to everyone in the Inn.
“Come on, ya Pilfering Pansies, let’s sing it one more time!” he shouted. They all took a deep breath and sang.
Weeeeee alllllllll.
Drink, we sail, we fight like hell, till the sun’s with us again.
And when it’s here, we chug a beer, until it’s our wives we fear.
We chug a mug, we slip on a slug, we venture on all the seas.
And if we die, and they make us cry, request some ales, if they please.
