"maaa" K'Saun yelled as he made a mess with his food. He started to bang on the high chair which made food go everywhere
"Symonte stoppp, fuck" I said getting frustrated as I ripped a napkin off the roll and made my way over to him
We was at a family cookout in Baton Rouge, so I'm already irritated just by being in everybody presence. On top of that I had a big ass attitude, so everything was getting on my nerves
"You better have some patients when you dealing with my grandson" my momma said looking at me as she took a sip of her wine
"ma leave me alone, he my son" I said as I continued to wipe K'Saun hands off
"Ashiah I don't care, you keep forgetting you a child. Pushing a baby out at a young age don't make you grown, and it don't change the fact that you my child"
"aight leave me alone" I threw the napkin in the trash before wiping down the high chair top
"you be having it all twisted, you better chill out. Don't get embarrassed in front of everybody"
"ma you ke —" I cut off by my auntie telling me to hush "y'all do not tell me what to do, damn"
Kentrell came walking in the kitchen laughing with some other niggas but I didn't really pay them no mind
"Kentrell get her cause she finna get fucked up" my momma said as I took K'Saun out the high chair. Kentrell looked at me with a confused look
Before he left and went outside I was perfectly fine, so I see why he confused
"wassup, what happened?" he asked making his way over to me
"She in here talking to everybody any kind of way. She smelling herself, so get her before I do"
Kentrell don't like when I "disrespect" my family and talk to them however I want. For some reason it pisses him off
He mugged me and bent down to my ear before whispering
"say, you tryna get fucked up?" he whispered in my ear and I shrugged "say, you tryna get fucked up?"
"Kentrell no" I said lowly before he nodded
"well you better fix it and stop acting stupid" he took K'Saun from me as he held the mug on his face "come on"
I followed him outside and into the front yard
"every time we come out to a family event you act like you ain't got no respect" he said as we made our way over to his car
"So" I shrugged not really thinking, he stopped and mugged me
"Say that shit again" I shrugged and didn't hesitate repeating myself
"so" he leaned against his car as I looked at him with my arms crossed
"Ashiah mane stop playing with me cause you really don't wanna get fucked up" I reached for K'Saun but he moved away
"So now I can't hold my child?"
"No, but you can get out my face"
now if I walk away he gone get even more mad
Fuck it ima test his gangsta cause I'm like that. I started walking away before he pulled me back
"fuck is you doing?"
"you just told me to get out yo' face" I said in a 'duh' tone looking at him
his left eye started twitching so I knew he was mad as fuck. He grabbed my arm and pulled me over back to the car
"Stay yo' ass right here and don't fucking move" I did as told without saying nothing

"bae get his ass outta here, I can't even shit in peace" I said to Kentrell as K'Saun sat on the bathroom floor looking at me laughing
"He chilling, you the only one who got a problem" Kentrell responded as he looked at his self in the mirror
"And you get out, both of y'all. I can't do shit without yall all on my ass"
"you ain't gone never be able to do shit either. You know that though cause this ain't nothing new" he looked at me and started laughing
"Kentrell get out and take yo' son with you"
they finally left out and I finished using the bathroom before wiping myself. I flushed the toilet and washed my hands before leaving out
I walked out the bathroom to Kentrell laid across the bed watching tv. K'Saun was just sitting there whining with slob hanging from his mouth
"who the fuck asked you to change my channel?" I asked Kentrell as I jumped on the bed. I snatched the remote from him causing him to snatch it back
"don't get slapped, for real" he said looking at me with a serious face
"Kentrell just cause I went to the bathroom don't mean change the channel"
"you snooze you loose. Sorry Charlie " he said looking at me and turning the tv up loud
K'Saun started crying so I slapped Kentrell and he muted to the tv
"I'm finna disclaim yo' ass" Kentrell said looking at K'Saun before he looked at me "you too"
"don't say that to him" I said mushing his head
"what, I am cause he crying like a lit' girl. Shut that shit up nigga" Kentrell raised his voice causing him to stop crying
"why you do that?"
"Why you keep babying him up?" he asked mugging me
"Cause he a baby"
"nigga bout to turn one in like ... a few months
"alright, you got it I don't care" I Said snatching the remote and turning the tv down
