pt. 3 - Welcome Home [End]

He stands there with the softest eyes and smiles that you've always loved. "I'm back," he added as he starts stepping closer to you. "no, this is not real." You slowly back away trying to deny what you're seeing. You must be hallucinating again like the past months, you thought. "no, this is real, it's really me," you can sense worry on his word but you shook it off. "No! You're not real!" you raised your voice and start shaking before you fall on the ground with your knees.

"stop," you hide your head with both your hand. "please stop haunting me already, I'm tired..." you whispered lowly as you start crying, "leave my head, you shouldn't be in there anymore. I just want to live my life," You added. "YN, it's really me, Chris." He said as he kneel down in front of you, trying to put his hand on your shoulder but you push it away.

And as your skin touched his, you know that it's really him.

"why are you back?" you ask coldly while still avoiding his gaze. "I'm back to take what I left behind when I leave that day." He said calmly. You scoffed, of course, you thought. "I don't have the key with me, I'll giv"

"I'm coming back to take you with me"

"what?" and that's enough to make you turn your head, allowing him to lock your gaze so it won't look anywhere else anymore. "You're the only one I left behind that day" you narrowed your eyebrows at him and repeat your question, "what?"

He didn't answer but lifted his left hand at you and your eyes immediately went to his ring finger but nothing on it. No ring, there's not even a mark on it if he decided to took off his ring before. "you were right,"he sighed. "I shouldn't marry her only to save my father's company. I secretly work on something as they're busy planning for the marriage and turned out it was a trap." He looks at you before he decided to just sit on the pathway with you, taking your both hands into his.

"Mina has been liking me, she has been looking for information about me and she used my dad for that. She paid a coworker to play with the budget that makes the company start crumbling. Only to get me." He lifted your hand and kissed the back of it before whispering with eyes still on yours, "now that I'm finally back to you, I'm finally home."

You said nothing but staring deep into him, seeking for the answer if he was saying the truth with tears slowly forming up on the edge of your eyes. Knowing how you're still in doubt, he leans closer and whispers a part of your favourite song. "I won't give up on us, even if the skies get rough, I'm giving you all my love.. I'm still looking up" he paused and reached out to wipe the tear rolling down your cheek, giving up to hold on. A soft sob left yourmouth after he pulled you into a hug, the only hug you've been missing for 8months. "I missed you" you said with your voice shaking and you can feel himnodding while his hand keeps on rubbing your back soothingly. "me too, evenmuch more." He said. 

Gripping on to his shirt, you slowly pull away from the hug and cough out a low chuckle. Wiping your own tears, you smiled to him. "Welcome home, Chris."
