Lucifer's POV
Ugh...I woke up late. Again. Whatever. I slowly stretch and yawn. I lazily get up and start getting ready for the day.
I feel a slight weirdness for some reason, although today should be like any other day, but I don't know. Something just calls out to me about today being weirder than usual...
After I'm done brushing my teeth and putting on clothes, I grab my bag and go downstairs for a quick grab of a chocolate bar. When I get downstairs, I see my family, like usual, meh. They aren't bad, I'm just aloof and dead inside. They're the total opposite of me, I can hardly stand it. I give my mom, dad, little brother, and big sister a kiss on the cheek before grabbing a bar and leaving. They have a thing for kisses, I don't know why. Something about a 'traditional show of affection'.
I get to the bus stop and wait. I wonder, what made me think about today being weird? Maybe I'm gonna meet my soulmate today? JUST KIDDING, haha. I mean, soulmates are real, but it's not something to be excited about. In this world, you have a soulmate but you have roles, one of either being a daddy/mommy dom and the other being a little girl/boy sub. Yes, you get stuck as whichever, no way around it. It sucks. And what's worse is you don't know which one you are until you meet your destined soulmate. I really hope mine is a little girl, cause I ain't ready to be a baby. Then again, I'm sure that could go for A LOT OF PEOPLE.
I get on the bus with these thoughts. I ignore the loud music playing and sit next to someone I wasn't paying attention to. Today just seems so boring as well as weird, but I hope nothing really happens. I take out my music and put in my earbuds as I wait for my stop at school to appear. I close my eyes a bit.
After a while, we stop at the school and I get off. I slowly start making my way to the stairwell inside and up to the top floor, knowing my friends are there. It's really just automatic. After we greet each other, I lay down on the ground, tired. We have a whole hour or two. Yes, students come VERY early. Or at least most of us.
My friends, Mason and Corey, are playing some kind of card game when I arrive, so I just watch.
Mason's POV
I watch as Lucifer makes his way up. I immediately feel the protective feeling come over me and I see it happens to Corey as well, but we will ourselves to keep playing the game. He'll be suspicious if he catches us treating him like a kid, you know.
Corey's POV
With how protective we get over Lucifer, I can't help but truly believe that we're daddies...except we aren't. I still can't fucking believe it. Dumb secondary genders making mistakes, I'd sue if I could. Yeah, how do I know this? Oh, it's a story for another time.
Lucifer's POV
I decided to go walk around, I was so bored. They got protective as usual, but let me go. "I'll only be a while," I say, getting up. I go down the corridor and to the stairwell, I make my way around and then decide to head back after a bit. Cause as I've been saying on the whole way here, that's boring as well. I'm surprised I haven't fallen asleep. When I'm climbing the stairs, I didn't pay attention, so I accidentally slip on one of the steps...
