Broken Fate

The New Room

Screams can be heard in the halls of the laboratory. Scientists watch through the one way window and write down results. Inside the room is a young child with white hair being injected with different liquids. Pure agony invades the young child's body with each injection. The child screams, cries, and begs to stop. They never stopped for 3 years after the child's mother died. 

They soon stop after the last injection. They leave the child alone in the room. They wait to see what will happen after all of the injections. The child curls up in a ball and cries. Soon, the child begins to scream again and bones begin to break.

Bones break and come back together as if it was making something. The child's body begins to take on a different shape. The shape grows beautiful white fur. The child is no longer a child but a 5 foot white wolf. The wolf scratches the walls leaving marks a foot deep. The wolf growls and snarls looking for a way out. Someone pushes a button and sleeping gas floods the room. The wolf howls and fights the gas. The wolf soon passes out and goes back to the form of the child. "Beautiful, the room will have to be rebuilt with stronger steel and give HW-201 a gift for her today's test result." The scientists nod and leave. Someone comes over to the head scientist. "What is it now?"

"Dr. Marvin the government is on to us. We need to move this laboratory to the Beta laboratory underneath Rosewood Orphanage. You can even have more test subjects for your unstoppable army." Dr. Marvin begins to think about his decision.

"Alright, but have a room prepared for HW-201. She has gotten stronger, faster, and smarter over these past 3 years." The man nods and leaves. Dr. Marvin presses a button. The speaker comes on in Luna's room. "Forget about the room. We are moving to Beta Laboratory." The guards nod and begin to move Luna out of the room. They carry her to a small metal cage then lock her inside it. They carry the cage to the loading vehicles. The scientist move around them as the load everything from the laboratory to the loading vehicles. Five loading vehicles leave at a time with the supplies. Luna wakes up while the third vehicle leaves. She looks around scared and confused. She tries to get out but soon gives up. She goes to sleep.

Luna wakes up in a room that isn't familiar. She hears children laughing from outside her room. She carefully gets off the bed, still sore from the test. She opens the door and peeks outside the room. She sees children running around playing and the other test subjects sitting in the corner away from them. She also see the scientists acting as caretakers. She closes the door and walks back to the bed. She begins to think. Dr. Marvin enters the room.

"Hello HW-201, welcome to your new room." He sits down next to her. He strokes her head. "I have some rules for you. Never show yourself to the people who come in here to adopt. Never play with the other children. Never talk to the other children. Never eat with the other children. Never go outside. Never touch anything that doesn't belong to you. Never ever try to run away. Any questions?" She thinks. He gives her time to think.

"Where am I?" She tilts her head to the side. Looking into his eyes. He falls into a trance. Luna gets scared then starts seeing images run through her mind. "Rosewood Orphanage?" She looks at Dr. Marvin in the eyes again. The trance disappears and he holds his head.

"I think I have a headache. HW-201 please enjoy yourself as there will be no tests today." He leaves while holding his head. Luna smiles happily and leaves her room. She thinks in her head. "I have a new room now that's not white."
