Chapter 2: Father's Little Angel

February 18, 1990

Hermione grew closer and closer to her brothers, she was practically their mother but this made John angry and upset as she reminded him of his late wife Mary. John had used to lock Hermione up in her room for hours to keep her safe and away from any boys so she'll always be his little girl as he wanted to keep her pure.

But then danger had struck them when she and Dean had turned 11, John had taught them how to hunt the supernatural as he had known that a demon had killed Mary and he was crazy to get revenge on this yellow-eyed demon.

He took Dean on a hunt and left Hermione constantly at home to watch over 7-year-old Sammy, who at the time didn't understand anything, he just enjoyed having Hermione's company.

This would happen constantly for days, she would constantly worry about them, some days she stayed up all night to watch over her little brother as he kept having nightmares of their father and brother dying, she cried herself to sleep most times as she couldn't sleep without her twin cuddling her, as she can only really sleep when Dean's cuddling to her and when Sam's calm.

These events occurred up until John and Dean arrived home on a cold crisp Autumn day. October 3rd, 1990, they were always beaten up and covered in bruises when they arrived so she had always treated their wounds.

Hermione loved being with her family except John had turned all abusive after Hermione treated his wounds as it reminded him of Mary.

He kept leaving the twins to look after Sam every month, year. Hermione started to get fed up with it as he constantly never arrived home for any of their birthdays, thanksgivings, or even Christmases.

Meaning she'd have to sort the Christmas and Thanksgiving Dinners out, wrap the birthday and Christmas presents alone without any help, and for birthdays she would always make the cake as her brothers loved her cake baking.

Months slowly turned into years past and John still hadn't arrived home, this was starting to worry her, maybe he had gotten seriously injured.

November 2nd, 1990

That was until a demon had attacked her and her brothers on the 2nd of November, the day their mother had passed away 7 years prior. John had arrived home with his duffel bags and guns and killed the demon but he stayed with his children.

He wanted to protect himself from danger. But sadly he grew more and more abusive towards Hermione and Dean, but mostly Hermione as every day he would hit her and shout at her as she didn't do anything to stop the demon because she was too scared and too busy protecting her brothers.

December 16th, 1990

The twins were now 11, they stayed home often, it was around the Christmas holidays as they were no longer attending school, as hermione couldn't afford it.

This carried on until he packed his things and went again on 16th December 1990, the week before Christmas, Dean and Sam had never misbehaved for Hermione as they saw her as a mother figure, well to Sam, she was his mother as he never knew Mary, Dean also called her mother sometimes to make Sam happy.
