Shortly he arrived at the park, today it was pleasantly empty with fewer occupants than usual. Ann alighted from the car and grabbed the cold bottle of whisky she brought with her and sat it into a brown paper bag.
They slowly walked, holding hands, feeding fishes in the enormous pond with breadcrumbs placed in trays around the park. She suddenly lifted the bottle of whisky out of the soggy paper bag, cheerfully raising it.
“Let's toast to a night to remember.” Ann said in a melodramatic voice as she uncorked it. Laughing hard.
Makinde said “Okay, of course Ann. Let’s toast to that.”
“Cheers” Mak bumped his fist on the bottle.
“Cheers”Ann blushed then took a long sip then fed him whisky. He chugged a mouthful which smacked his jaw. Ann leaned in closer to Makinde, as close two people could get without touching each other while maintaining eye contact the whole time.
Makinde started to woo her. “You’re a beautiful woman. It’s surreal being here right now. I can’t……..” Ann disrupted his heartfelt speech as she leaned in kissing him with her warm arms wrapped around his neck.
She leaned even harder into him like a hungry cat and he could feel her soft body rubbing against his firm body frame.
Makinde kissed her passionately on the lip spontaneously groping her voluptuous bubbly ass. Ann is a fantastic kisser, drooling and biting on his lips as they swapped slime.
Makinde and Ann were lost in the moment that they didn’t notice the people around them who couldn’t stop giggling.
A while later, they came apart. Over a red brick bridge, was a magical tent, Ann pointed over at the enchanting structure and started moving faster towards it. She paced back and grabbed Makinde’s hand moving him with her.
They reclined in a bench in clear view of an exquisite water fountain which is the centerpiece of the park. Ann cheekily proceeded to kiss him some more. He felt her body vibrating and shortly her phone rang.
“Get your phone Ann.” He recoiled watching her as she brought the phone out of her purse and noticed she rejected the call.
“Who’s that?”
“Oh….it’s nothing really, I missed the call anyway.” she murmured under her breath knocking back another long sip of whisky.
Ann then raised her camera above her head and started taking selfies and soon they were taking pictures in different positions, kissing and groping as she snapped away.
Moments later, they strolled around the beautiful park standing across a black monolith, shaped like a ball – inscribed in cursive were the words.
THOUSANDS OF MILES APART
AND FRIENDSHIP IS ALL IT TAKES
TO BRIDGE THE DISTANCE.
Ann leaned in to kiss him then took another picture right there. Mak didn’t fancy taking pictures but Ann certainly enjoyed it.
Ann and Makinde basked in the alluring landscape holding hands and laughing before exiting the park and back to his house for the night.
