Makinde is bland although there is a stack of homework and projects before him. This beautiful summer day, he eagerly craved an escape leaning over his assignments and term paper - one hand insipidly resting on his jaw. He quickly turned the book and picked his smartphone and launched SmartDate - his favorite dating app.
Makinde scrolled through a few profiles, liking some and declining most. He was only looking for older women who looked like a lot of fun. After a few minutes, a notification popped up - Message from Ann P.H, he opened it up and it read,
“Hi?” Makinde swiftly replied noticing she was still online. “Hello, how are you?” He anxiously waited for her to respond.
Half a minute later she started typing… “Doing fine, Thanks. What about you?”
“I’m alright and Thanks for your concern,” He replied adding “What are you up to Ann?”
“Nothing really, just looking for something fun. I like your profile.” Ann replied with a blushing smiley.
Makinde, now livened up as he pulled the chair he sat on further under his reading table to answer back without delay.“Fun is my middle name, Nice to meet you.” he retorted blushing smartly.
Awaiting Ann’s response, Makinde opened Ann’s SmartDate profile at the same time so he could peek at her pictures and get discussion hints. Makinde was stunned when the first picture loaded, a delightful pretty lady became visible revealing a voluptuous physique clad in a black fishnet top and underneath a black camisole in a selfie mode.
He scrolled to the next, Ann captivated Makinde in an orange monokini that accentuated her delicate curves posted at the edge of a pool. All her pictures aroused his desire and he set on to score with Ann. Makinde then read Ann’s bio.
Location: 3 miles away.Age: 30.
Relationship Status: Divorced. He became disconcerted not knowing where the conversation would lead as she was seven years older. ‘I’ve never dated anyone that much older than me.’ He thought to himself.
Pop! Pop! Pop! Three message notifications popped in chorus and Makinde opened it up as Ann had sent messages.“Yeah.”
“Nice to meet you as well,”
“Can I video-call you?” She asked
“Yeah, sure.” He replied with a wide smirk on his face biting his lips nervously “I can call you right now. Do you mind?” He added.
“Give me five minutes. I’ll call you in a few.” Ann replied and shortly she was offline.
Makinde briskly walked to the mirror on his wardrobe probing to make certain he was camera ready. He threw his orange Billionaire Boys Club hoodie on the white wife beater he had on, matting down his wavy hair before returning to his seat.He situated himself in front of his Bob Marley poster so it would set the scene for the video call. Shortly after, Makinde’s phone rang. Ann had called just in time. He accepted the call which connected after displaying a blank screen for about 5 seconds. She came into view and he was short of breath seeing her animated.
Ann wore a purple top with spaghetti straps and he glanced at the pink highlights in her lush black hair. Her breasts looked smaller than he remembered seeing in her pictures but still full and supple. ‘That’s definitely a “D” cup.’ Mak’s mind wandered. Shadowing her limber breasts as it poked out of her top,
Makinde couldn’t shroud his elation as he waved at her and she waved back.
“Hi Ann.”
“Hi Mak.” They exchanged pleasantries though hers sounded so dreamy.
