I just stare at her and she then chuckles at me "ohhh that" she says as I look away from her as Mila walks into the room "you know what I never though that snakes could be so... Flexible" she says making Dinah laugh

"Well they only have a vertebrae so they should be flexible" Lauren says walking in the room and Camila looks at her "sorry miss know it all" she says making me chuckle and they look at me

"Y/n I will investigate you later I promise you that!" I hear Mani shout as Ally pushes her back out the back door and closes it on her and signs "oh thank you God" she says and looks at me and smiles "you're save for now" Ally says until Mani climbs through the window as a snake making me jump and quickly jump over the back of the coach and running upstairs to my room closing the door behind me

I know Mani will find a way in so I grab some extra cloths I then climb out my window and turn into a phoenix flying into the roof landing on top of it and I shift back getting changed and lean against the chimney watching the sunset in the distance

"You know it's not safe up her right?" I hear making me look and see Camila walking through a portal walking over to me and I just look back at the sunset and she sits down next to me watching it with me

Once it was set she stood up and held her hand out for me so I take her hand and she helps me up and makes a portal and we both walk though it and were in the kitchen

She closes the portal behind us and I walk out looking around seeing if Mani is still here "if your looking for Mani she is hiding in your room in the closet" Ally says walking passed me into the kitchen

I should just get this over with shouldn't I? I sign and make my way up stairs quiet and over to my wardrobe and open the door looking straight at Mani who is sitting on the floor

"Before you speak a word" I say putting my hand up as she stands up "I will only answer one question" I say and she pouts but nod "fine then my question is...." She puts on a thinking face and walks out of the closet sitting on my bed

"How did it make you feel?" She asks making me smile at her and walk over to her flopping down on the bed signing dreamily "It made me feel..." I turn so I'm laying on my back and look at her and shake my head

"It's was everything good and more" I say and she smiles down at me "well you got your answer so you happy?" I ask her and she nods and stand up walking out the door leaving me in my room

I lay there for a while and then I hear and knock on my door making me sit up and look seeing Dinah looking back at me "you okay?" She asks and I nod "you?" I ask her and she smiles with a nod walking over to me and sitting down next to me

"So what did Mani do?" She asks and I just shrug "well its getting dark you should get some sleep" she says standing up leaving the room

I couldn't sleep I couldn't get comfy and I was a too hot and I was to exhausted and tired and go down stairs I to the kitchen and get some water

"Hey" I hear making me jump and see Lauren looking at me and I smile at her as she walks over to me "Shouldn't you be asleep?" She asks and I huff still feeling really hot I think my phoenix is messing around for some reason I don't know why but I don't really care I guess it's just beings it's wild self I mean it's is a wild mythical creature after all

I feel a cold hand on my shoulder making me come back too "woah your really hot" she says making me chuckle at her "I meant like as in warm like burning up have you got a fever?" She asks and I shake my head

"You sure your really burning up" she says and I just shrug and move closer to her feeling her coldness making me feel a little better so wrap my arms around her and she does the same to me

"With all this warmth you might just make me prejudice body heat" she joke making me chuckle at her "come on I'll help you cool down nugget" she says pulling away taking hold of my hand and pulling me to the living room seeing Camila and Dinah asleep on the other couch cuddling each other and lauren pulls me down on the sofa that is on the opposite side of the room with her

I lay down on her feeling her coldness cool me down as I feel her put her arms around me and our legs tangle together and I feel her kiss my head and we get comfy and I could feel my phoenix starting to settle down and I start to fall asleep

-morning-

"How comes she came down here last night?" I hear Camila asks and you know when your awake but your asleep at the same time that's what I am like now

"I don't know but she was burning up so I figured I'll cool her down and she fell asleep" I hear Lauren answer

"Well vampires do attend to be cool" Dinah says

"Does she have a fever?" Camila asks and I feel a cold hand touch my forehead

"She still seems to be a little hot" I hear Lauren answer as her hand moves away

"Well if she is sick I might be able to make something to help" I hear Camila reply

I could feel Lauren shift a little underneath me making me shift as well and snuggle into her loving the feeling of her coldness like you know when your pillow is to hot so you flip it and lay down on the cool side? Yeah that's what she feels like right now
