While all was happening Bryce tried to resuscitate Mia.

All went well as she gasped when Kon's body hit the floor.

"D-Dustin" was the first words that left her mouth.

"Oh sweet baby she's alive" Toni fell and gave her a hug which bloomed into a group hug as the boys smothered her in a warm embrace.

"You sons of bitches she needs air!" Dustin snarled yanking the boys off her, she lunged at him, sobbing to the tears that wet her cheeks.

"He wanted you dead" her voice was muffled in his shoulder.

"Well I'm not. I'm here. It's okay" he lulled rubbing soothing circles in her back.

"We gotta bounce" Toni declared

"Right feds are gonna flock this place" Cameron added as he took in his surroundings.

"Eli?" Dustin called at his bother who was stooped down beside Kon.

"I'm taking him with me. You go home. Inform father" he whispered, hurt lacing his tone.

Nothing else was said as the boys loaded the van, heading to the Toscani Manor, with a victory and no casualties.

Janice was the one to open the doors, her eyes glinted with mixed emotion as her heart soared seeing her baby before her.

"Thank God" he sighed crying as she embraced her tightly.

"Kon's dead, shot himself. Eli took him" Dustin told his father. He too looked pained as he held his son.

"I'm happy you got through" he patted his back, he turned to his mother who pulled him into her, kissing the one spot in his forehead that didn't have blood.

The boys went to the gym to shower off the carnage that coated their bodies.

"I may not approve fully. But. It's her choice. If if she says she loves you? Who am I to turn her away" Janice held Dustin, whispering in his ear. She wiped her tears as she too kissed his forehead as a way of giving him her blessing.

Everyone left.
Leaving Mia and Dustin alone.

He took her hand, guiding her up the his room where he stripped her bare, running the shower as her washed her body, inspecting her for any major bruising.
Apart from the rope burns and the bruising beneath her cheek.

What concerned him was the burn on her shoulder that branded the gun muzzle in her skin and the purple bruising on her stomach.

Mia choked on a sob as Dustin held her close. She cried loudly as he lulled her.

"I'm sorry I ran away. If I didn't I would have put you through this. You didn't have to kill so much people. I. I. I'm so stubborn. I never listen. I'm sorry" she hiccuped.

"The ones who wanted you are dead anyways. It's okay" he sighed.

They sat in the tub, setting the warm water to run around them as their muscles relaxed.

Soon enough Mia was fast asleep in Dustin's chest.
He bundled her up in a towel, placing her in bed before he got dressed.

He sat on the balcony, unlocking his box of cigars as he swung a bottle of Jack continuously as his buzzing mind came to a halt.

He found some peace in the storm as he unwinded. Finally setting when bottle down.

Throwing his head back to stare at the stary night as he drifted off to a land he knew well.
