Caroline's POV
The next day I woke up and quickly got dressed before getting Adam's bag ready. I didn't want him to get into this mess he's just a baby.
I packed his little bag and fixed his bottle before driving to my friend's house. I knocked on the door hoping they would answer.
The door quickly opened. "Oh my gosh, Caroline! I haven't seen you since . . . . ."
"Hi bonnie. . . . look I need your help."
"What's going on?" She asked
"It's hard to explain, but do you think you can take care of him for me?" I asked as I handed Alan too her. She took him carefully and smiled. "Of course, but care-"
"I really have to get going, but I'll call you and check up on him." I started to walk away.
"Caroline!"
"He's names Alan!" I said and got in the truck driving away.
I drove to the address Klaus gave me, but I didn't see him anywhere. I stepped out of the truck and looked around the abandoned building.
"Hello!"
"Klaus!"
I called out for him, but there was no response. "Hello Caroline." I turned around thinking it was Klaus, but it wasn't so I gasped before everything went dark.
Screams and yells woke me back to my consisnus. My vision was sort of starting to come back. "Klaus . . . ." I said weakly as I looked at him he was covered in vervain. He continued to scream as the guy threw more on him. "AHHHH!"
"Stop! Please stop it! Leave him alone!" I yelled
The guy stopped and walked towards me. "No . . . ." Klaus groaned weakly
"Leave him alone?" He asked then slapped me across my face. "Don't tell me you still care for this piece of s*it!" He yelled. I cried slowly as when it hit my face hard. "Just please leave him alone." I begged
"Okay Caroline, I'll leave him alone if you tell me how you feel about him." He said. I continued to cry, but he yelled in my face. "TELL ME!!"
"LOVE!" I yelled making the room go silent as they both looked at me. "I love him if it wasn't for him I'd never be alive. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't even known vampires or hybrids existed. If it wasn't for Niklaus Mikaelson I never would've known what love really is." I said with the sigh.
The man who was talking and yelling at me took off his hood so I could see his face and I was so shock to see who it was.
I gasped once again.
"Kol . . . . ."
