It is a final match for 2018/19 season of English Premier League. Despite having a tough time during 1st half of the season, The Hammers managed to put themselves amongst top 10 in a league table with Danny Quinn managed to put himself as the 4th top scorer of the league with 21 goals, only 1 goal less than 3 top scorers; Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah. This gives speculation that some big clubs might tried to get the young English-Irish striker to be part of their team next year.
Inside the team bus;
Danny sits with the team captain, Mark Noble at the back seats.
"So, mate. I heard that some big teams want you to join them", said Noble.
"Yes. That is true", replied Danny.
"So, have you decide yet where to go?" asked Noble.
"Yes, sir", answered Danny. This answer attracted some attention from players at the back.
"So, where will you go?" asked Arnautovic.
"Is it one of the English Big 4?" asked Fabianski.
"Or is it outside England?" asked Rice.
"C'mon, bro. Tell us", said Anderson.
"If I managed to be man of the match today, I'll declare it live TV", said Danny.
"Fair enough", said Noble. Then when the bus arrives at Vicarage Road, all players and other staffs get down and make their way to the dressing room to changed into their training outfit before head to field to warm-up.
Match time;
Players for both team are ready inside the tunnel. Later, both team enter the pitch.
The match started as Watford kicks off the match. The game is quite slow in the first 10 minutes if only 1 shot created. 14 minutes of the game, Noble managed to steal the ball and through the ball to Antonio. Then Antonio passed the ball to Danny. Danny dribbles the ball and when he enters the penalty box, he kicks the ball with a low shot and the ball entering the net for the first goal of the match. Danny ran to the corner to celebrates his goal as that goal puts himself as one of the top scorer in the season.
At 38th minutes of the game;
Fabianski kicks the ball far but Noble managed to win it and passed the ball to Danny. Danny then run with the ball before passed it Antonio before run pass Watford's defensive midfielder before Antonio passed the ball back to him. Danny then dribbles the ball until inside the penalty box. When Watford goalkeeper approaching him, he passed the ball to Lanzini and Lanzini scores to make it 0-2 for away side.
"Nice trick, Danny", said Lanzini when they are celebrating the goal.
"Well, thanks to your finishing move", said Danny.
Half time;
As the players take a rest inside the dressing room, Pellegrini enters.
"Okay, boys. Great first half but don't be careless. There are still 45 minutes left in the game. Best of luck", said Pellegrini.
2nd half;
West Ham United is controlling the game but suddenly Watford launch a counter attack and managed to score a goal to close the gaps with only a goal.
"I've told you don't be careless!!!" shouted Pellegrini from the bench.
"Never mind, keep focus", said Noble.
70th minutes of the game;
Rice managed to steal the ball. Then he passing it to Zabaleta before Zabaleta cross the ball to Anderson. Anderson tried to shoot for a goal but Watford's keeper managed to block it but Danni that out of nowhere runs toward the ball and finished it with another goal for West Ham to make it 1-3. Danny then runs towards the away side's seat and celeberate with Hammers fan by kissing the club's crest.
78 minutes of the game;
Rice steals the ball and dribbling it before passing it to Antonio. Then suddenly, a defender tackles him inside the penalty box. The referee stops the match and awarded West Ham a penalty kick. Danny quickly picks up the ball and put it into a spot to take penalty kick. Then, he moves away to let Noble to take the kick. After reff blows his whistle, Noble shoot the ball for the 4th West Ham goal of the day.
After few minutes later, reff blows the final whistle of the season as West Ham brings home 3 points with them in the final game of the season. To make it better, Danny now is the sole top scorer of the league with 23 league goals.
"So, Danny Quinn. Congratulation on not just the win for the Hammers but also to you personally as you are now officially, the top scorer of the season. What do you have to say about that?" asked Rebecca Lowe.
"Thank you, Rebecca. It's been tough for me and the rest of the team this season but we managed to take the 10th spot of the league. Next year we just need to do better. Who knows we might be part in European competition in 2020/21 season", said Danny.
"So, rumours had it that you already get many clubs approaching you. So, have you decided about your future next season?" asked Lowe.
"Well, I already decided. I will stay with Hammers next season. The only thing that I still didn't decide is either to play with England or Ireland National team since both FA didn't give me a call up yet", said Danny.
"Okay. Thank you for your time for us. See you next season", said Lowe.
"You're most welcome", said Danny before left to the changing room.
Later, in the dressing room;
Danny sits with his teammate while waiting for Pellegrini.
"So, you decided to stay with us next season, huh", said Noble.
"Yes. Still have many things I want to do here before thinking about going elsewhere", said Danny.
"So, I'll see your face again next year huh?" asked Anderson.
"Yes, mate", said Danny.
"So, now your problem is to decide which national team you want to play, huh?" asked Rice.
"Yes. I hope I will get a call up from any nation. Hell, even if the call up came from Atlantis, I'll gladly accept it", said Danny. The rest just laughed. Later, Pellegrini came in.
"Okay, boys. That's all for this season. I know some of you might already making decision either to left or stay while some of you didn't decide it yet. But I'm telling you this, I'm so proud of all of you. When I took over as manager, this team already in relegated zone. But now, we're managed to be in a top 10. Not to mention, Danny is the top scorer of the season. So, wherever you decided for your future next season, I wish you best of luck. Thank you very much", said Pellegrini followed by applauses from all players. Then, all players change their clothes and make their way to the team's bus to return back to London.
In the bus;
Danny seat with Noble again as he always see Noble as a mentor in the team.
"So, Mark. Which senior national team that you think I should play with?" asked Danny.
"If you asked me, I want you to play with England. You and Harry Kane can make the opponents' defend goes crazy", said Noble.
"What about Ireland? They quite good too", said Danny.
"Yeah, they're good and have a high fighting spirit like you have. They might be great team, but the last time they make it to FIFA World Cup is 2002", said Noble.
"Yeah, you're right. You know what, I really going to think about it", said Danny.
"Yeah. Take your time, rookie", said Noble. Danny just nodded.
