Later after the match;
Danny and Ella are cuddling on the couch when Danny got a phone call from Southgate.
Danny: Hi, coach. How you're doing?
Southgate: Hi, Danny. I'm good. Great play just now by the way.
Danny: Thanks, coach.
Southgate: By the way, Danny. I called you this time is because I want to offer you a place in the national team in the next friendly match. Would you like to return to the national team?
Danny: Of course I am. I worked so hard this half season to take back my spot in the national team.
Southgate: Great. Then, I expecting you to report in to squad this Tuesday. I'll send the details later on.
Danny: Okay, coach. Thanks a lot.
Southgate: No problem. Anyway, I need to go now. See you this Tuesday.
Danny: Okay, coach. Bye.
Southgate: Bye.
Then, they hung up.
"Somebody just get his spot back" said Ella. Danny grinned.
"Yes, babe. I'm glad I finally get it" said Danny.
"So, when will you report in to the national team?" asked Ella.
"On Tuesday" replied Danny.
"I see. I'm really miss to see my favourite striker in the national team" said Ella. Danny just smirked before kissed Ella's forehead.
Few days later;
All players gathered around at the conference room at the hotel where they will be staying until their friendly match against Italy that weekend.
"Told you that you'll made it this time" said Sterling.
"You don't think you made it? It's so obvious though especially how did you performed after moved in to Manchester United" said Kane.
"We told him the same too" said Rashford.
"I just didn't want to get my hope too high" replied Danny.
"By the way, how's things with Ella?" asked Pickford causing everybody to give attention to Danny.
"Good" replied Danny.
"Just good? How is she on the bed?" asked Kane.
"Sorry, not answering private part. Next question, please" said Danny.
"Do you know about the biggest news in London?" asked Rice.
"What is it?" asked Danny in returned.
"Your ex-girlfriend caught Haller cheated on a woman for few night stands" replied Dier.
"Really? So, they're broke up now, huh?" asked Danny.
"Yup. She tried to ask all our friends in West Ham to help her to talk to you again but we're refused" replied Rice.
"Not only you boys actually. She even came to meet me and the rest of Spurs players that play for the national team to do so. I also heard from some Millwall players that she went to your cousin; Hariz and Xander too but both of them shoved her off" said Kane.
"Well, she deserved it anyway" replied Danny.
"Yeah. But, let her be though. The thing is now you're back with the national team and that's all matters" said Sterling. The rest just nodded. Later, Southgate came in to brief about everything from the training scheduled until the match day.
