"Arnav" Khushi whimpered, burying her face in his chest, Her whole frame shaking with sobs. His right hand found its way through her hair, caressing her hair in an attempt to calm her down while the left one was wrapped around her waist securely holding her close to his chest.

There are some people, Who know the inside out of you, You trust them with your darkest secrets, Your most terrible dreams, Your weakest moments. There are some people, You simply bare your soul to, Two weeks ago, In the witness of shining moonlight, and the stars on the terrace garden of the most exquisite restaurant in the city, Khushi had done something along the same lines. It was her moment of vulnerability, and she had trusted him with herself even though she could hardly trust her own self at that time.
And No, Arnav hadn't disappointed her. He stood there holding on to her as her gut wrenching cries pierced his heart. He stood there, Holding her, letting her wet the front of his Armaani, feeling utterly helpless and disgusted with himself for not knowing what to do to lessen her pain.
“Khushi” He had dared to break the silence after what felt like an eternity, She looked up at him, Her eyelashes still wet with tears.
“What happened?” Arnav asked in the softest of voices, his hand cupping her cheeks, rubbing the tears off her face
Khushi blinked, gulping the lump in her throat as if waking up from a dream. Arnav gave her a soft, assuring smile.
“I'm sorry!!” Arnav wasn't even sure he heard those words, as he saw Khushi sprint towards the lift and before he could come to terms with the situation he saw the lift door close.

He had, in the last two weeks, rewinded & replayed the incident so many times in an attempt to find the reason that could have caused Khushi to practically flee from his elaborate date plan, that now he could recollect even the tiniest of details of that day and yet, he couldn't comprehend what had caused her to behave like that.

Today, Exactly 13 days and 13 hours later, Arnav stood in the living room of the Rathore Mansion dressed in a casual white shirt, paired with Dark blue denim jeans.
“Khushi baby is in her room Mr. Raizada, You can go and meet her upstairs, I saw you with her when you came to drop her home sometimes. She looks very happy with you. She doesn't come out of the room very often but because you're her friend, she should not mind you visiting her in her room.” Reshma Aunty told him, Arnav frowned.
"She doesn't come out of her room?"
Reshma sighed, "She's like that only sir. Keeps to herself most of the times."
Arnav nodded "Her room?” Arnav asked softly.
“First room on the right, Take the stairs.” Reshma instructed.
Arnav nodded and ascended the stairs to Khushi's room, Stopped in front of her door to knock once, only to find the door open.
Khushi was standing at the window of her, lost in her thoughts. Her waist length hair flowing freely, Arnav walked into the room and stood next to her.
“Good Morning Sunshine.” Arnav greeted her, Khushi flinched, retreating a few steps away from him.
“Arnav!! What are you doing here?” She exclaimed, eyes rounded in surprised shock.
