Rose's POV

My week stayed the same, boring as usual, and I didn't see the man that I encountered earlier this week. It was Friday and I only had 3 classes. Two were about 45 minutes and one was an hour and 30 minutes. I dreaded this day, my ex boyfriend Matt is in my last class, and trust me I never look forward to this class. My first two classes went pretty fast with my best friend Shelby being in both of them, we talked for the whole class obviously, but somehow we always seem to get our class work done. Shelby walks me to my third class every Friday. She used to be in the class with me but she switched from Theology to Cooking: 1. I didn't understand at first but at least I have my own personal baker to bake me different pastries. I never knew why I liked Theology so much, I was never the type to go to church or anything holy. I went to a private school growing up, my parents thought I would've turned out to be the respectful, quiet but opinionated little girl that goes to a catholic school and let's everything in the world happen around her. My head started aching the moment I saw Matt. God I hate him so much. There isn't one bone in my body that doesn't remember everything he did to me. Every scar he left. Every tear that rolled down my cheek to my knees as I cried against my dorm wall. It made my eyes water just thinking about it. Matt is the douche that every girl wants in highschool. He's the boy who says "It's a joke, chill." Trust me, if you were me, you'd hate him too.
Class went the way it normally does, silent, nobody answering the questions when the teacher asks them, we get a quiz at the end, and we leave. I was packing up my things when I heard the room go silent and a hand grabbing my arm. I turned thinking it was Shelby, but it wasn't. It was Matt. "Get off." I started to get angry with him, and he saw it in my eyes. "Still feisty Collins, I miss that." He said. I was fuming. "Thanks to you and you're abusive ways, I've learned to sense out the douche bags that try and talk to me." I spit back. His grip hardened. I winced and he noticed my eyes not focusing on the floor and they were now staring at the grin in his eyes. My body tensed as he did a devilish laugh and let go of my arm. "Still not so tough though, God can't you take a little pinch?" I looked around, nobody was in sight, and Shelby doesn't walk here, I pick her up instead. "ANSWER ME!" Matt slapped me, I was so used to zoning out, that I couldn't even hear him talking. I fell to the ground and he picked me up by my neck. I started whimpering, trying to speak, trying to breathe. But I couldn't. His grip became more and more rough and sturdy. I couldn't move, better yet I could see the back of my head slowly when I heard a bang. I fell to the floor.

I woke up in a hospital with a neck brace around my neck and ice on my arm where a large bruise had formed. I winced trying to turn my head to the man sitting on the chair by the door. "Hey....Don't move, I'll come over there." I was surprisingly very calm. It wasn't Matt. It was him, the man I ran into at the cafe. I didn't say anything for a few minutes and I finally had the courage to ask, "What happened to Matt?" He had been looking into my eyes I don't think he even heard me. "He, uh, he's in a coma" I gasped. I honestly hadn't expected that at all. My eyes started to close and open, and then my heart monitor machine started beeping. The man whose name I still don't know, ran out and I fell to a slumber.

Harry's POV
I went to look for her, I learned her name was Rosaline, Rose for short. My hands and arms were shaking, I didn't want her to think I was a stalker. I found the classroom building that she was supposed to be coming out of by now, and she wasn't there. I walked inside the building and heard whimpering. I saw her, there was a boy, practically a child with a bear grip around her neck. She started to go pale, her eyes about to go to the very back of her head. I grabbed a chair and I'm assuming his head was metal, because it sounded like a gun had just been fired. Rose fell to the ground, I called the police quick and grabbed her bridal style and started jogging to my car. I raced to the hospital and I soon heard police sirens, I drove even faster, I would rather deal with them at the hospital where's she's stable and okay then me not getting her there in time for them to help her. Im sure they would understand if they saw my face.
This girl. This tiny girl in my arms was grabbed from me by tons of nurses, I barley know her, yet, I have a feeling I'm going to find out all about Rose. My Rose very very very soon.
