Dear Diary...

I didn't think I would be starting off the school day with standing on a table. Alfie had made the whole form, including Remi, get up onto the tables so we could do some bullshit song to try and get Rosie to find Alfie interesting. How this will work I have no idea.

The whole of the form are stood bored and annoyed, sporting scowls and crossed arms, Alfie stands peeping out the window, whilst me and Mitchell are playing thumb wars, twisting from side to side like it will give us an advantage. Mitchell tries to cheat by poking me in ticklish places, which cause me to slap his hand away.

"Get ready, she's coming. In three, two..."
With that he swings open the door revealing a confused Rosie as we start to recite the words Alfie had drilled into us for about half an hour.

"O' captain, my captain." We recite at once, our voices drowning on with disinterest, I swing side to side knocking my hips into Mitchell's. Joe's voice was a little out of sync with ours and his face is cutely scrunched up with confusion causing me to smile at the lad.

Alfie stands at the door and sports an egotistical grin, "guys, come on." He says trying to play innocent as if we were making a huge deal for him. Facing Rosie he points his thumb in our direction, "they do this every time I try and go to the loo."

I roll my eyes, as if. Rosie looks at him with disinterest not believing a word he is saying. Don't blame her, Alfie is a shit liar.

"Staff room?" Rosie asks with a dead look in her eyes.
"It's a date."
"It's a staff meeting." Rosie deadpans.

As they leave the bell rings signalling that break had begun. Everyone hops off the table, whilst I hop onto Mitchell's back, holding on like a koala. Mitchell holds me up by holding his hands under my arse, as my arms are linked around his neck. "Come on, lets go to the smoking area, I could do with a cig." I speak into his neck, I only get a nod in reply as we walk along side Chantelle and Stephen.

Before the door closes I hear a faint, "Oi, sir, man, you said you were going to help me down!" This causes me to look back at Rem Dogg's offended look, Mitchell does his 'hu hu' laugh at his despair, we carry on walking, leaving Remi up on the table.

The group sits around a picnic bench, Chantelle, Stephen and Jing on one side whilst I'm sat in between Mitch and Joe, on the other. Jing is reading a novel whilst the rest of us light up a cigarette. Mitchell slings his arm around my shoulder as shivers from the icy wind nip at my hardly covered figure.
As the group discuss Alfie's obsession with Rosie, me and Mitchell talk about our plans for the weekend, as we are Mitchell takes off his knee length coat and gives it to me.

"I'm babysitting for my sister, her and Andy are going London for their anniversary. So I can't do much." I inform him as I snuggle into the black trench coat.

He nods before taking a smoke of his cig, "ah alright, we could go the park. There's one where I live that we could go." He suggests, exhaling the smoke in my face to annoy me. I glare jokingly as my heart skips a beat from the fact he planned a day for us and lil Daisy, not caring that we would both be looking after her.

I see from the corner of my eye Chantelle and Stephen looking at us and silently fussing over Mitchell wanting to help me look after my niece. Rolling my eyes, and blushing, I turn back to Mitchell and stare into his muddy green eyes that have small flecks of dark green around the pupil. "She would love that, going on the park, she loves going on slides. We can go to the cafe near mine too, they have a small play area, and then we can go back mine. Have a movie marathon?" I add to the ideas for the weekend.
