#~Chapter 8~#

*At Olympus*( that's a new one)

"Where is my son!" Poseidon screamed with all his might.

The sea god had tears prickling down his cheeks as he couldn't get in contact with his son for a few days.

Some might say he is overreacting but he really isn't.

He loves his son so much that it hurts to even think the boy is hurt.

Hades widen his eyes. He didn't expect this much rage and sadness from the god. He thought Poseidon would not worry this much, expecially that Percy was gone for only a few days.

The god of the underworld knew that he couldn't contact Percy because magic was created by Hecate so the location of the school would stay hiden.

Even himself couldn't go in without the permission of Hecate.

Hecate stood up.

"He is on a quest." The goddess replied, making Poseidons anger bloom even more.

"WHO GAVE YOU THE RIGHT TO SEND MY SON ON A QUEST! EVEN THO HE RESPECTS YOU I WON'T GIVE YOU MERCY!" Poseidon screamed as the earth started to shake violently.

A shadow figure appeared out of the corner of the room. Everyone froze. Well not really. Poseidon was still fuming.

The shadow moved towards the angry Poseidon. It put it's hand looking thing on the angered gods shoulder.

Poseidon tensed at the touch and looked towards the figure.

His anger flooded away as sadness yet happiness took its place.

Tears formed in the sea gods eyes as the earthquake imeadiatly stop.

"L-love?" Poseidon whispered so quietly only the shadow could hear him.

The shadow figure nodded, making the other gods confused.

Poseidon lunged at the figure. Every other god thought he was going to attack the figure but the god simply hugged it.

Zeus got mad that his brother hid something from him.

"What is the meaning of this brother?!" Zeus asked, rage filled in his voice.

Poseidon looked at his brother and glared at him.

"Don't you dare lay a finger on my lover!" Poseidon warned with a  menacing and dark tone to his voice.

"You're insane! You have a wife and a mortal lover already!-" Zeus was cut off.

"NO. I WAS FORCED INTO LOVING TWO OTHER WOMEN BY YOU AND YOU TOOK MY ESSENCE TO CREATE MY TWO SONS. I ATLEAST HAVE PERCY THAT WASN'T AGAINST MY WILL!" Poseidon snarled at the king of gods.

Zeus was taken aback. He didn't realise this hurt his older brother so much.

The lighting god looked at Aphrodite to see if it was all true. As if she could read his mind she started speaking.

"Yes....but...why do you love this person? I mean...it's a shadow.." Aphrodiet asked quite confused.

Poseidon looked at his love only for the other to laugh at Aphrodite's comment.

"You THINK I'm only a shadow little pesky love goddess?" The figure mocked.

Aphrodite gasped at the shadow.

"HOW DARE YOU I AM MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU LITTLE PIECE OF-" Just as she was about to curse Poseidon growled.

"If you DARE insult my lover once again I will rip your heart out and feed it to a blood craving monster in Tartarus!" Poseidon glared at the love goddess.
