Team Red Dust (Original Characters Story)

A Virus?

It has been a week since Alpha informed the whole agency about what happened on his mission last week. Since then everyone is trying to figure out what an from where did the weird substance came from. They also are trying to figure out if Elly, the girl with amnesia that Sal rescued is connected to all this. Also. Peebles, the girl that Alpha found is trying her best to help as much as she can. Some of the agents believes that she can be connected to the whole "Virus" situation as well. The team red dust were sitting in their living room and talking about the whole situation. None of them could rest well last nights because of all this happening around them. The worst was the part that their boss said that for now they cant help with anything and all they should do for now its just stay put and careful. ".. We cant just sit there while everyone is working. That's just not fair." Said the girl with fluffy hair with mad tone. "But what can we do? You heard the order from boss. We can't do anything about it." The red robot replied to his partner. ".. We can just don't listen to him this once and take this situation in our hands." Said Sal as he stood up. "Look, don't you remember how many situations we've managed to handle together? Aliens, attacks, the imposter, robots. All this just we three. We are one of the best agents from here. We can't just obey, sit and do nothing." He added. "Yes.. Yes you are right!" Said Nicky after standing up as well, "Agree." Alpha stood up as well. Sal's Speech has moved both of them. "Now.. We just need to think from where we can gather more information about this situation. We won't get to know anything from people from here, that's for sure." Said the boy, crossing his arms. "Hm.. Well.. It seems we need to pay a visit to our old echidna friend then. If anyone might know something about what's going on its him. He watches everything from above after all." Said Nicky after sighing quietly. Affermitive. With the power he has He must know something." The robot replied. "I.. Y-yeah. Let's go." Said Sal, after shaking his head a bit while blushing a little. "Aw hon~ Still crushing this red boy~?" Said Nicky to her partner with a teasing tone. "Hmph." Said Sal and crossed his arms again,looking away. "I just.. Respect him. T-that's all. He does a lot of hard work." The boy added.

"Sure.. Sure~" The girl answered and giggled a bit. After the agents finished their talk. Alpha and Sal started preparing to sneak out from the base while Nicky was hacking into the system so no one would be able to realize that the three of them are gone. After everything was done the three of them went out from the base, walking towards so called "Angel Island". The only way to enter it is via a Valley cave. Its a cave with a little river inside of it full of beautiful lilly flowers and glowing mushrooms. Sal really enjoyed that place a lot. In his opinion its one of the prettiest and calmest places he ever saw. Finally after few hours of walking they arrived. Nicky walked infront of the river and said "Lilly of the Valley." It was the code which makes an entrance from the water in form of a girder bridge connected to a floating island. After crossing it they finally arrived.

The Island was beautiful. Full of nature and green plants, waterfalls and mountains. The sky was blue and the sun was nicely warm. It felt like in heaven. In the middle of the island there was a special place. For the Master emerald. An Emerald which contains Ultimate power. Of course its not there by itself. It has a guardian. And the guardian is- "Hey Niko~ Guess who it is~" Said the girl with a teasy tone as she and her team arrived at the master emerald's place. "What..? You again?" Said a boy who got up and looked with quite angry expression at Nicky. "Master emerald stays here." The boy added. He looked like he was ready to do no matter what to protect it. Sal sighed and said "..W-we are not here for that. We need your help." He looked at the Emerald's protector. "Huh? My help?" Niko looked surprised. "Indeed." Alpha added. "I.. Uh.." Sal tried to continue the conversation while trying to not get into eye contact with the boy. Nicky sighed and said "No worries. I'll take care of this." She stepped closer to the protector. "We need you to tell us something about this." The girl showed a picture of the "creature" that Alpha saw on his last mission [Chapter: Daily Routine II] "All we know is that its caused by the chaos energy. That's why we thought you could know something about this." Nicky added. The boy looked at the photo and looked quite terrified. "I.. It looks like a chaos vessel" "A chaos vessel?" Sal looked at Niko a little confused and interested. The boy nodded and explained ".. Chaos energy can give you an ultimate power. But.. If a mortal will take too much of it their body won't be able to take it. It will devour their soul from the inside. They will be just a lost vessel trying to destroy everything on their way." said the boy with a serious tone to the agents. They remained silent, thinking about what the echidna boy said. "So.. Does that mean the thing Alpha saw.. Was a normal person?" The boy with fluffy hair asked. On what Niko answered "Yes. They were. But.. Their soul got devoured by chaos energy. But.. Its impossible. The master emerald is here. Other chaos emeralds are in your base as I recall. So.. The only possibility is that.." "Someone had to do it to them." Both Sal and Niko said in the same time after which they looked at each other in confusion but not long after Sal cut the stare by looking away and crossing his arms saying quietly "hmph." "That means it would need to be someone as Sal that can have chaos energy in them." Alpha said. "Or.. A powerful creature that itself was made of chaos." Nicky added. "Like a.. God?" The Echidna boy suggested. After which Sal smirked and said "A god? Oh please. There is no such thing." Rest of them looked at him. "Well.. You might be right honey. But.. Still.. It is a possibility." "Well. The only way to get to know what "it" is to come back to the village where Alpha saw this Chaos Vessel thing. Sal's partners nodded after which they started walking toward the bridge. "Wait up." Niko said. The three of them stopped and glanced at him. "I'll go with you. I know more about them than you do." "Alright. Then let's go." Sal answered. Nicky gasped "does that mean??" "Ughh.. Yeah.. We are taking the master emerald to your base for some time. The emerald's protector said as he sighed with annoyance. Sal giggled a bit and took the master emerald with Alpha's help after which all four of them made their way out of the Angel Island back to the base.
