" You ok" Lance whisper with worry as he noticed pidge slowing down a little. He understood they been walking for hours non stop but she was still as pale as she was the day before. Then it hit her, she was hungry.

He learned that vampires need at least half a cup of blood a day to live. Some can last for a week with only one cup of blood by they would either turn insane by the fourth day and start randomly attacking people for blood. Or they just died from not having enough blood. He looked up and noticed that each vampire would act more sickly if they didnt drink enough and guessed her going more pale was her sign.

"I'm fine, please dont worry" She weakly smiled and lance noticed her vampire teeth were showing a little when biting her lip. She never bought them out unless she was drinking or so she told him. 

"lets make camp here" Lance called out, its been four days since they left the base. They only rested a little before walking non stop for hours. Hunk, lance and Keith have been drinking or eating as they walked but Pidge couldn't do that. 

Lance guessed she not been taking enough blood from him in fear of making him weak or taking too much that he not use too in giving. He felt a little bad for letting her starve and walk around three yummy meals. 

"sounds good to me, lance your on first watch" keith replied as they all stopped and picked a tree to lean on. The all picked trees that were some feet away from each other to protect them from all dying in a single attack. 

"just dont wake us up over nothing" Hunk mumbled and closed his eyes falling asleep straight away.

"night" Pidge mumbled as she closed her eyes.

"night" Lance mumbled back while looking to the sky. Or he would be looking at the sky if the tree didnt cover the sky. He didnt even notice they entered some woods at some point during the day. He looked around noticing how creepy the placed seemed. Once he knew everyone was fully asleep lance stole pidge bag and took out her spare water bottle. He made a small cut and let his blood flow into the bottle, this way she could drink while walking without worry. He placed the lid back on and placed her bag next to her. He started wrapping his fresh wound before someone grabbed his arm with strength. 

"such a nice smell .. why would you want to cover it up" a beautiful lady spoke, she had long blond hair and red eyes. 

"red eyes" Lance panicked noticing it was a vampire. 

"struggle as much as you want but more you speak the more others will heal and know where to track your little group" She warned with a smirk and Lance froze up. She was right if he yelled too much or made his friend panic then any other vampire could track them down in seconds and it was too dark for them to see who is who. Meaning the vampires would just eat them up in seconds without much of a fight.

"sorry but he taken" Pidge grumbled as she walked over, her fangs hanging out and her hazel eyes turning red. Lance knew scent of his blood was getting to her but he couldn't help find his small vampire friend cute in her true from. That when he noticed she was forcing herself to stand meaning she was too Hungary to hold her ground but was still trying to protect him. 

"taken by who .. you dont make me laugh" The vampire lady laughed turning to pidge but keeping a harsh grip of lance arm. 

"pidge dont" Lance begged knowing she wouldn't be able to handle the fight. 

"shut it" Pidge growled making Lance yelp. 

"you sure you want to take me on" The lady asked with a grin.

"depends if you wish to mess with the leader .. these three men were her special snack and your going to drink before they do" Pidge smirked back making the lady freeze.

"the leader" she said with fear.

"yes, i must have them by the meeting spot by tomorrow but go ahead and drink them if you must" Pidge smirked and placing a hand on her hip.

"n-no im s-sorry please dont tell them" The lady.

"i wont but you better leave now .. you dont want your scent staying on him" Pidge warned and the lady ran away making lance fall to the ground with her suddenly letting go. 

"do i want to know" Lance asked and Pidge fell to her knees.

"we vampires have a leader like a boss but the we all respect the leader wish since the leader has the power to end us slowly and can control our fate ... no one ever seen the leader unless you fail in their eyes" Pidge mumbled and held her head.

"drink" Lance said with worry and crawled over showing her his wound.

"get away" Pidge hissed and tried to push lance away but failed.

"no .. you gonna turn if wild if you dont drink soon" Lance warned and Pidge looked down in shame.

"please in a cup" Pidge begged but lance didn't move.

"i trust you to stop" Lance gently smiled.

"but i dont trust myself" Pidge whisper in fear. 

"Katie" Lance smiled softly and looked in the girl eyes he wince in pain as she bit around his wound and he felt it burn at first when she started drinking but it soon turned painless. He watched as Pidge drank not looking him in the eyes. She seemed to like his blood more then she would tell him but he knew by the sparkle in her eyes. His gently smile not leaving his face as she drank letting her know she gonna be ok and she didnt need to feel scared becuase he trusted her. 

He woke up the next morning and turned to his wound. He noticed it healed but left a bite mark. He couldn't help but blush a little as he thought about pidge leaving a mark on him. 

"how you feeling" Pidge asked with a sweet smile and he turned to she her sitting next to where he laid. 

"good but more importantly are you ok" He asked with a smile and grabbed her hand.

"yes thank you for trusting me" She grinned and he chuckled.

"anytime but just say if you need to drink dont wait until you nearly lost it" Lance grinned and pidge giggled.

"sure thing .. oh and thanks for the bottle in my bag" Pidge smirked and placed a kiss on his cheek before standing up leaving a shocked blushing lance sitting there.

"oh good he up .. we heading out" Keith yelled as he walked over.

"s-sure" Lance mumbled back and got up.

"we should reach the area shiro went missing by tonight if we hurry" Hunk said with a worried smile.

"great" Pidge grinned and they all started walking again.

"so um" Lance started to ask still a little red.

"you know your kinda a special human" Pidge smiled sweetly.

"i am" Lance blushed.

"yeah, your my first human" Pidge smiled and giggled a little at lance face.
