El and Max just look at each other in shock. "Why didn't you tell me Ellie?" Max asks calmly. El just shrugs and sniffs. "Are you...are you mad with me?" El asks, once again sniffing. "No, no, no, I could never." El cuddles up to Max's chest and Max put two arms around her girlfriend. "It's okay, El. It'll all be okay." Max reassured the tiny girl. El just sighed and cuddled closer. After a moment of warm cuddles and silence, a soft knock can be heard at El's door. "Hey, twerp. Is El awake?" Billy spoke quietly. Max looked down and saw her fast asleep. "Yeah." "Okay, wake her up, it's breakfast time." Billy then walked out. Max grinned, and shook El softly. El groaned and looked up at Max. "What?" "Breakfast." Another groan escapes El's mouth, and Max pulled her out of bed. "Cmon!!" El finally gave in, and interlocked fingers with Max. "I'm hungry anyway." El mumbled and smirked a little.
El talked to herself a lot. She got into the habit of doing it when Mike wasn't around.
Mike wasn't paying any attention to me lately, and he's pushing me away too. "Ugh. Mike is so stupid." I say to myself. "Yeah, he is ignoring me! Nothing more!" I continue to chat with myself. "Dumbass." I then cover my mouth. "I hope Hopper didn't hear that.."
Max and El get downstairs, fingers still interlocked. The Mayfield's look at the two girls with skeptical faces (minus Billy) and there eyes travel down to their hands. Susan smiles at the two genuinely. Susan and Billy weren't homophobic, Max knew that. But Neil was. Neil glared at the two girls before saying the following......
