The police didn’t find the bodies
until five hours after I got home.
It was ruled out as drowning.
In the papers they said something about
rocks and seaweed
and that was it.
They were gone
and my job was done.
I was really hoping that
Einstein would let me get rid of him soon;
he was too needy
and I was getting scared.
He told me that he’d be gone really soon,
and that’s when I heard
someone kick my door
open.
