Jackson let the bucket of lacrosse balls fall over, the balls spilling out on the ground. "Okay. Everybody get a partner, one ball for every team of two. We're gonna practice throwing the ball." The little group of sixteen kids moved around, picking our their partner & grabbing a ball. Ronnie partnered with her best friend on the team, Beka. He could hear her talking to Beka about her day with uncle Derek, making him scowl. She continued talking as they attempted to throw the ball back & forth with their crosses. "He took me for icecream & then uncle Stiles picked us up & took us back to his place. And then I got to hang out with my aunt & she had all these barbies from when she was little & we baked some cookies. We didn't share with my uncles though, only my uncle Boyd." Jackson was torn away from the conversation by a ball hitting his chest. He looked up, glaring at Danny. "You loosing your edge there, Jacks?" Jackson rolled his eyes, picking up a ball with his cross & tossing it back to Danny. "Hardly. I can still take you down." Danny smirked at him. "If I remember correctly, you were never able to beat me, only keep up." Jackson smirked, catching the ball Danny threw in his net. "What's eating at you?" "Nothing." "That's not your nothing look, that's your something look." Jackson sighed. "Ronnie's getting really attached to Derek & his family. I just don't want her to get hurt when he leaves." "Why do you think he'll leave?" "Because Stiles has the worst luck with relationships, he always picks the deadbeats & loosers. I love the man, but he needs to stop thinking with his heart so much. It's not just him involved this time." "Did you ever think that maybe Stiles picked a good one this time? If you haven't noticed, it's been almost a month & he's still here. I think he's alright." "Matt seemed alright at first too & then we stopped seeing Stiles & then you know what happened. Ronnie, Allison, & Stiles got hurt, I don't want that to happen again." Danny smiled at him. "Give him a chance, babe. He's a lot different than Matt. You heard his conversation with Alli, you know he's gonna do right by Stiles." Jackson just sighed, turning back to the kids. "Good job, now make a single file line in front of the goal. Liam, can you go stand in the goal?"

Stiles smiled as he woke up to Derek's arms around him, their bare bodies pressed together, back to chest. His bedside clock said it was almost nine & Derek had to get going soon. Stiles sighed, turning around in Derek's arms, so he was facing the other man. Derek grumbled a little, not liking the movement. Stiles smirked at how cute he was & leaned in to kiss him. Derek responded fairly quickly to that, his arms tightening around Stiles & his lips moving in sync with Stiles'. Stiles smiled, pulling away a centimeter. "Morning." Derek tiredly smiled at him, his eyes filled with so much love. "Good morning, are we going again?" Stiles laughed, shaking his head. "We don't have enough time." Derek looked over Stiles' shoulder, glaring at the clock like it personally offended him. Stiles ran his fingers through Derek's hair, before letting his hands slide down to Derek's chest. "You should get ready, I'll meet you at your apartment tonight when you get off." Derek just looked at him for a second, making Stiles slightly uncomfortable under the attention. "Move in with me." Stiles froze. "What?" "Move in with me." It was Stiles' turn to stare. "You.. want me to move in with you?" Derek nodded, moving so he was holding himself up over Stiles. He leaned in, pressing kisses to his neck, shoulders, cheeks, forehead, & finally his lips. "I love you, I love waking up with you in my arms. I want to have more days of us in the kitchen together, & us being lazy on the couch. I want to be able to come home to a place that's ours, a place that's really home." Stiles caught Derek's lips with his, the kiss deeper than the others they had that morning. "I love you too & you have no idea how amazing that sounds, but I can't say yes right now." Derek looked hurt & Stiles wanted to fix it so bad. "I'm not saying no. I'm just saying go to work, when you come home I'll be there. We'll talk over dinner, okay? I'll make us something." Derek nodded. He understood why Stiles was hesitant & he wasn't going to push Stiles into this. He wouldn't be like that monster. "I love you." Stiles smiled at him, his hand caressing Derek's cheek. "I love you too. Now go to work, before I get you in trouble again." Derek smiled, getting up to get ready.

Ronnie pushed her plate away from her, it scraping against the table & catching the attention of her uncle. "What's up bug?" Ronnie huffed & got up, moving so she was sitting in Jackson's lap. "Beka said uncle Stiles is going to leave us." Jackson raised an eyebrow. "And how would Beka know this?" "Because it happened to her. Her aunt used to watch her all the time, she said she basically lived with them. And then she got a boyfriend & they moved halfway across the country to be with his family. I don't want to loose uncle Sti, or uncle Derek. Why would he leave us?" Jackson had to stop himself from laughing, it would only upset Ronnie more. "Ronnie, what is the most important thing to your uncle Stiles?" She tilted her head a little. "Food." Jackson laughed this time, smiling at her. "No silly, his family. He wouldn't be able to survive a day without seeing one, if not all, of us. Your uncle will not move away. Family is more important to him than any friend, okay?" Ronnie nodded. "Besides Derek's family lives in Beacon Hills too." "They're our family now too, right?" Jackson hesitated. He thought about Derek & Allison's conversation the other day. Derek sounded sincere in his words. Not only that, but everybody seemed so eager to welcome Derek & his family into their lives. Jackson saw the way Derek looked when Erica announced her pregnancy, he's most definitely caring. He's good for Stiles in a way Matt never was. "Yes, they are." Ron smiled, jumping out of his lap. "I'll be watching TV." Jackson chuckled a little as he watched her run off. Muscular hands slid down his shoulders, until there was a body leaning against his back. Jackson hummed, leaning into Danny. "Did you mean it?" Jackson nodded. "I'm going to give him a chance, he seems sincere. Besides, Ronnie's very adamant on getting a cousin, I couldn't take that from her." Danny laughed, kissing Jackson's shoulder. "You're such a sap." Jackson huffed. There was no denying it these days, the cat got let out of the bag years ago. "But that's alright, that's why I love you." Jackson smiled. "Who's the sap now?" Danny laughed, as Jackson got up & they went to join Ronnie.
