Error and Blue had never met. Had no deities interfered in their Multiverse, it is quite likely that they would have never met at all.

But, unfortunately- or perhaps fortunately, it all depends on your point of view- the deities absolutely loved interfering.

And so, the story unfolded, following a path that I'm sure we all know.

Error was taken by Fate to the Anti-Void, and forced to be the Destroyer, lest his entire Multiverse fall.

His counterpart, Ink, was a terrible being. Much, much more so than the usual Ink.

Even after Error told him of the Balance, he continued to create... for he didn't care about the well-being of his Multiverse.

All he cared for was his own amusement.

He created and created, and Error destroyed and destroyed, in a never-ending cycle...

Until one day, Ink discovered the wonders of anime- Pokemon, Attack on Titan, Fairy Tail, Naruto, and many others.

(I must apologetically admit that out of the three mentioned, the Pokémon anime is the only one I actually watch.)

He holed up in his house in the Doodle Sphere for days at a time, and in between binging entire seasons, he went on massive creative sprees.

Then one day, Error, in a slightly crazed state, and half-blinded by glitches following an incident in one of the stranger worlds Ink had created, kidnapped the Sans of Underswap, one of the oldest AUs in existence.

He hadn't meant to do it, really!

He had fallen through a portal into the AU, half-blind and not even knowing where he was.

And then, right when he was opening a portal home, a small skeleton clad in blue, busy running for his life, had slammed into him, accidentally pushing them both into the Anti-Void, with the portal closing behind them.

As you would expect, he had crashed.

And when he came to, he found a small, blue-clad skeleton busy exploring his home, looking at all of the puppets and wandering around.
