That night, I was left lying in my bed and staring up at the glow in the dark stars on my ceiling.  I found it hard to sleep, continuing to bring my fingers up to graze at my lips.

It was slapping me repeatedly in my face.  My thoughts had been confirmed, and I no longer felt confused about my feelings after Tape Face kissed me.  I liked Tape Face. And I liked him a lot.  And we kissed!

I squeezed the pillow I was hugging, bringing it up to my face to muffle my squeals of excitement as I blushed.  I fell asleep, dreaming about Tape Face and more kisses yet to come.

~•~ In The Morning ~•~

I awoke in the morning to the sun shining brightly on my face from my window.  My eyes fluttered open, staring at my ceiling as I breathed in, letting out a deep and calming sigh.  My mind went back to memories of last night with Tape Face, and I smiled as I got out of bed, excitement overwhelming me once more.  I grabbed a change of clothes and went into the bathroom, closing the door that connected to my bedroom behind me as I got ready for the day.  Though as I was brushing my teeth, I thought I heard knocking from outside my bathroom door. I squinted my eyes in confusion, pausing the cleaning of my teeth as I opened my bathroom door, peering outside.  When I saw nothing, I shrugged and went back to brushing my teeth.

It was only mere seconds after I had looked away from my bedroom that I heard knocking once more, specifically from my window.  I looked over once again, seeing nothing outside that could possibly have created the noise. But I was unconvinced that no one was there, considering this was the second time I had heard said noise.  Spitting out the toothpaste and washing out my mouth, I went to the window and slid it open, peering outside.

As far as I could see, no one was there.  That is, until Tape Face popped up from the hedge underneath my window, and I yelped out in surprise, backing up.  My eyes widened, covering my mouth as I looked back at my closed bedroom door. My parents weren't home, for they would be at work by now, but that didn't mean that my siblings weren't probably awake and playing in their shared bedroom, and had probably heard my outburst.

When I looked back towards my window, Tape Face had already started to climb in through the frame, his eyebrows raised as if to say hello.  Meanwhile, my eyes had only grown wider as I helped quickly pull him inside.

"What are you doing?!" I whisper yelled, glancing back at my bedroom door in anticipation of at least one of my siblings coming in to check on me, if they had even heard me. My hands moved from his arms and I rested them against my chest out of worry.

Suddenly, I felt arms wrap around me, pulling me into a hug as my arms were trapped between our bodies.  I let out a giggle as Tape Face began to placed tape covered kisses on my nose and cheeks, his eyes closed.

My stomach was fluttering at his actions as I blushed, pushing gently at his chest to unravel from the hug and contact.  I didn't want to, but I was worried as I began to say, "I know, I know. I missed you, too." When we broke contact, he had opened his eyes to watch me as I crossed my arms and pointed a finger at his face.  His eyes crossed as his eyebrows raised, staring at my accusing finger, which made it harder for me to hold back a smile as I spoke, "But weren't you the one who just yesterday said you didn't want yourself to be known?  My siblings are still home, you know."

His gaze averted from my finger to look into my eyes, and he tilted his head, shrugging.  I blushed at how cute he was, no longer able to hold back my smile as I gave him a toothy grin.  He smiled with his eyes, leaning in once more and I thought he was going to kiss me again. That is, until his eyes averted from mine and he paused, focusing on something from behind me.  My smile dropped as I turned around to find that my brother had come into the room, his hand still on the doorknob with an open mouth and wide eyes.

My eyes widened as well in response, backing up into Tape Face in attempt to conceal him as I grabbed his wrist from behind me protectively, "Micheal-!"

He immediately jumped into an offensive stance, and I had to force back a laugh at his bravery, considering how small he was.

"Heidi!  It's Tape Face!"  He stared deeply into my eyes.  I could hear Tape Face breathing from behind me, but he remained unmoving.  Michael continued to speak, "Is he controlling you?! Are you possessed under his spell?!"

I shook my head, "No.  Michael, he's-"

"Tell me something only you and I would know," Michael pressed, obviously not believing me.

I rolled my eyes and smiled, "When you were younger, you used to make your own wands and ran around claiming to be Sailor Moon-"

I could hear Tape Face's breathing hitch, and I could tell he had laughed at the story as Michael brought his hands to his eyes in embarrassment and interrupted me, "Okay, stop, stop!  You have proved yourself!"

I laughed, looking back at Tape Face and nodding an okay to him, that everything would be alright.  He nodded to me in response, the little tension he had leaving his body. I turned back to Micheal, clearing my throat as I moved from being in front of Tape Face, "Um, Michael.  This is Tape Face." I looked from Michael to Tape Face. "Tape Face, Michael." I gestured from Tape Face back to Michael, and Tape Face nodded a hello, holding out a hand towards the younger boy.

Michael looked hesitant before he slowly made his way further into my room, taking his hand carefully as they exchanged a shake.  Tape Face nodded again, and Michael untensed and smiled up at him. He looked back to me, "Okay, you have a lot of explaining to do."

I looked down at Michael, "Uh, well.  Tape Face and I are friends." I could see Tape Face furrow his eyebrows as he looked taken aback from the corner of my eye, and he proceeded to tickle me as I let out laughter.  Grabbing his wrists and pushing them away, still holding his wrists out of fear he would try again if I let go, I told him, "I'm trying not to overwhelm the kid, okay?"

When I looked back down at Michael, his arms were crossed with a raised eyebrow and I bit my lip out of nerves as he spoke, "Okay.  So you two are secretly lovers."

Tape Face's eyes lit up as he nodded vigorously, and I shook my head as I let go of his wrists.  I could not believe this was happening.

Michael looked up at Tape Face with disappointment, "Come on, man.  You were supposed to be cool." Tape Face's eyes widened as he looked taken aback, and I burst out into laughter.  He looked from Michael to me and back to Michael, eyebrows furrowed in playful offense.

"Where's Sam?" I asked Michael out of curiosity, also noticing how quickly Tape Face looked over at me with slight confusion upon hearing my sister's name.  I glanced at him before looking back at Michael as he responded.

"She is still asleep.  I was in my room reading my comics when I heard a noise in here."  After Michael said this, Tape Face's confusion left his face as he listened to our conversation.

"Okay, good.  As much as she loves playing with you, I think she gets a little freaked out about the Tape Face stories you tell her," I explained lightly, not wanting to disappoint my brother.

"Oh," it looked like the realization hit Michael, and he turned to Tape Face. "Sorry about that, by the way."  Tape Face shrugged it off as a way of saying it's okay.  I get it.

I looked between the two, happy to see them getting along.  Well, at least there was one less person afraid of Tape Face.  I knew with Sam it would soon be three, but with her we would have to take it slowly.

"Why don't you go check up on her?  I don't want her accidently coming in here and meeting Tape Face quite yet," I explained, but Michael only smirked at me as he began to leave the room.

"Uh huh, sure.  You just want some alone time with your boyfriend," Michael cooed, before quickly leaving the room and closing the door behind himself, giggling while doing so.  I blushed hard as I noticed Tape Face raising his eyebrows up and down at me in a playful way.

"Micheal!" I called out in a teasing warning.
