colby's eyes began to water as he stared at the tv, no one else was currently in the room with him. he knew he needed to tell someone, but he couldn't bring himself to make any noise. suddenly his phone began to ring, breaking him from his trance.
"h-hello?" colby managed to whispered into the phone, as he looked back up to the tv. the news had moved onto a different tragedy to report.
"is this mr. cole brock?" a deep male voice boomed through the speaker, causing colby to jump slightly.
"yes this is me." colby whispered, as he stood up from the couch.
"this is mike hanson from the los angels police department. i'm calling on behalf of liv montgomery, you're listed as her primary emergency contact." colby let out a sigh, as he immediately grabbed his keys and began marching towards the door.
"colby? where are you going? what's wrong?"sam was calling after him, concern laced in his voice but nothing was going to stop him. colby listened to the officer intently as he gave him details of the accident and informed him of the hospital that liv resided in.
"i'll be there in 5 minutes." colby stated, as he started his car, trying his best not to break down as he drove to liv. he had already lost her once, he wasn't planning to do it again.
