I wanted to see Grams one last time before I went to bed. But by the time we got home she was already asleep. I refused to get out of the car until I at least knew she was alive. Anderson pulled out his phone and rolled his eyes with mock annoyance, stating he was calling his second who was head of Grams' protection detail. I took the phone and grew more nervous as it rang.

"Alpha." He said in greeting.

"Its me." I said by greeting.

"Luna." And I could feel his bow.

But I didn't have time for pleasantries, "Hows Grams?"

"Safe Luna." He reported, "As soon as she wakes up tomorrow I'll report to you."

"You will come and get me." I instructed.  "Not inform me."

"Yes Luna."

"Even if I am sleeping I am to be woken up."

Anderson sounded a growl of disapproval and I glared at him.

"Y-yes Luna." He answered as if he heard Anderson.

"Goodnight then."

"Goodnight Luna."

I hung up the phone and handed it back to Anderson. He slipped it into his pocket and pulled me close sniffing me again.

"Satisfied?" He questioned.

I shivered against him and he hummed his approval. He sprinkled kisses along my face and I had no choice but to relax. I actually whined a bit as I tried to get closer. He yanked me onto his lap.

"If you whine like that again I won't be able to contain my wolf."

I pressed our foreheads together and rubbed my thumbs over his cheek bones. He made a sound of contentment, and I couldn't help but agree.

"I'm lucky."

"Excuse me?" He pulled back and I pulled his shirt to get him closer. "What did you say?"

"Let me explain."

He paused narrowing his eyes and then he slowly nodded. I nodded back.

"As a witch, we do not marry like wolves. We marry for politics."

A smile played on his lips, showing off dimples, "You want to marry me huh?"

I sighed, laying my head on his shoulder and softly smacking his chest, "Listen to me."

"I am." He chuckled.

"I'm lucky to have found my wolf because she has found someone she loves." I sat up to look at him. "Do you love her?"

"I love you." He grabbed my jaw.

I blushed, "Can I kiss you?"

The question caught him off guard and he let go of my face. My wolf internally whined at the loss of contact. He looked down confused and then looked me in the eyes.

"I don't care what I'm doing. " He said sternly, "Or where I am. If you want to kiss me, I expect you to kiss me. I'm sorry if I lead you to believe otherwise."

I leaned forward pressing my lips to his. He inhaled sharply, one hand tightening on my waist and one on my thigh. He broke the kiss.

"As beautiful as this dress is on you, I hate it. I want to touch you."

I took in a shaky breath and kissed him once, "You can always just take it off."

He growled.

Someone sharply knocked on the window.
