Chapter 15

Ashton's POV
We got back to our apartment, everyone exhausted. We decided to order some sushi, it was only 5 o'clock so we needed something to keep us energized. We all went to our rooms alone, I got into mine, changing from my skinny jeans and band tee to grey sweat pants and a plain white tee. I took my Banda off and put it on my drawer and as I was putting it down I noticed a silver necklace with a picture inside it, it was a picture of Ashley, Michael and a boy and I couldn't recognize. Ashley must've forgot it yesterday when she took it off for bed. I decided to text her saying I have it.

Ashton- I think you forgot your necklace at my place.

I sent that and put my phone in the pocket of my sweatpants and exited my room. I walked into the living room where all the guys where seated with there drinks and sushi on there plates. I grabbed a plate and got my sushi, o dat in the only free spot next to Luke on the sofa.
"So what's up with you and Ashley?" Cal asked
"Uh I don't really know, I really like her, like a lot but I don't think she fells the same way." I said and Mike choked on his drink, laughing.
"What's so funny?" I asked
"It's just you know we were kidding about the whole you can't see wats inside the Ferris wheel thing we saw you and ash!" Luke explained laughing with claim and Mike.
"Well we just met like less the 2 days ago, so it's just weird."
"False. You knew about my 'friend' that you explained 'couldn't shut up about', you also called that friend, hot, sexy, sweet, warm hearted and any guy that has her is a lucky man. That 'friend' was Ashley so you knew and liked her longer than you think." Michael explained
"Yeah true but I don't think she likes me that way."
"Same goes for her she knew you for a long ass time, I've been trying to set you for as pong as we've known each other so like 3 and a half years because I know you guys are perfect for each other." Mike said trying to knock some sense into me
"Well should I ask her out?" I asked nervously
"Yeah but not now let's set up some little get togethers, like party's, trips. where you guys can be together but not to alone so things don't get out of hand where it times out ur scaring her." Calum suggested
As he finished saying that I got a reply from Ashely
Ashley-Hey! omg thank you so much, I don't know what I'll do if I ever lost it. When can I get it back ?

I smiled at the text when I saw that it's from her.
"Ashley?" Luke asked
"Yeah she asked when she can get her necklace that she left here"
"The silver one with the picture inside it?" Mike asked me looking a little more tense than usual
"Yeah that one. hey Mike you ok? you look a little tense." I asked
"Ugh yeah I'm cool. tell her we're having a real party on Friday and she can pick it up then"
"But that's like in a week isn't that I little to long?"cal said
"Nah it's perfect and everyday keep on sending snapchats to her of the necklace at different places like the Starbucks you met."
"That's teasing her though.wouldn't she get pissed at me that I'm touching it?"
"Nope she's not that kind of type she'll find it funny and cute that your putting your time into it"
"Cool. so can we have a proper party and not here, because I'm not cleaning that up."
"Yeah I know my parents can lend me the key to our cottage, we'll have it there" Luke said to us
"Yeah that perfect, I'll text her the details"
Ashton- I'll give it back if you come to our party on Friday at Luke's cottage by the lake?
Ashley- that's like in a week, but that sounds perfect but make sure to make it a real party not the crappy you had one this Friday.
I smiled at her text
Ashton- ouch that hurts, but I promise, only if you dress up and give me you snapchat
Ashley- Well what counts of dressing up? and it's AshBrwn
Ashton- Something you can look presentable
Ashley- And before I didn't look presentable?"

We went on for hours just texting, me laughing at all her stupid jokes that she made. I decide to snapchat her a pic of her necklace saying I got it. she opened it and send me a pic of her pouting I screenshots it because damn she looked cute.
Mike saw 3 of us looking at the picture in the necklace and tensed up again. I hat to ask this time. I came up to him and asked him so the two of us were out of earshot.
"Dude can you please tell me what's up with you and that necklace? every time we mention it or look at it you get all weird."
"It's just that, the picture it brings back memories that me or ash want to forget about." Looking the other way
"What memories? you can tell me anything were best friends" I said reassuring him
"I know it's just hard just ask Ashley, she'll tell you the full story, I'm just not ready you know?"
"Yeah I got it." I was turning around to get to the fridge when Mike stopped me.
"Hey I'm maybe don't ask to early give it some time. Let her tell you when it's the right time , she can't really let just anyone in so deep, give like 2 weeks, I can see how much you've gotten close in a matter of time. 2 weeks and you'll know more than you'll need then decide if you wanna still ask her out. Me and her we've been through everything together if I'm struggling about something, that means she's struggling too."
"Thanks man, you know I like her so much that I want to help her wt through it and I don't even care about her past it might sound horrible I just want to focus on me and Ashley's future, hopefully together and man I wanna help you too." I said to Mike who I can see has tears in his eyes
"Thanks man, you gonna get her even if I have to push her too you because I know your the guy I want her to be with, she's like me baby sister an I'm her older brother she can't have anymore." Me and Mike hugged it out and I went to bed excited to see what tomorrow will bring mostly what joy ash will bring.
